World religions

Religion is defined as “a particular system of faith and worship”; It entails all aspects of our lives, like our daily lives, work or social ethics and most importantly different faiths definition of God and piety.

I have chosen 24 main religions of the world, certain religions are duplicated, for example Sikhism and Sayings of Guru Nanak, are both part of Sikhism, but I found a lot in it to learn from!

These 24 religions discussed here includes “Islam” as well… Islam today have unfortunately become culture rather than religion for example men and women from different countries of the world dress in a certain way because according to them it is Islamic dress as opposed to a western dress of trousers and shirts.

However, it makes no difference what you wear because God lives in your heart so to speak rather than in your clothes.

So, the importance of this page is for anyone who might be interested in any religion but want to compare that religion against Islam or those who want to judge the prowess of Islam…

Atheism & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Difference between Atheism and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Atheism;

Atheists are people who believe that god or gods (or other supernatural beings) are man-made constructs, myths and legends or who believe that these concepts are not meaningful. Many people are atheists because they think there is no evidence for God's existence - or at least no reliable evidence. They argue that a person should only believe in things for which they have good evidence

Islam;

The concept of multifaceted books was not realized by the world until now. Books are binary in structure; you read a sentence and it reveals what it means. The holy book of Islam the Quran (The Final Testament) is multifaceted book. It has three phases. binary plus one more. A mathematical structure. Following are the few examples of the 3rd facet of the Quran.

The first verse (1:1) consists of 19 letters

The Quran consists of 114 chapters which is 19 x 6

The total number of verses in the Quran is 6346 or 19 x 334

The last revelation chapter 110 consists of 19 words.

The first verse of the last revelation (110:1) consists of 19 letters.

Since there is no other book having three phases like this it confirms the fact that this book is not from this world but a revelation from God.

Atheism;

Atheists don’t use God to explain the existence of the universe. Atheists argue that because everything in the universe can be explained in a satisfactory way without using God as part of the explanation, then there is no point in saying that God exists

Islam;

Yes, agreed Universe, can be explained by science today, however there is one very important point which science cannot explain which is the origin of the Universe and that can only be deduced through religion. Yes, indeed I am talking about the “Big Bang” and the cause of it. Science’s fundamental rule is that any  event which takes place must have reason for it to happen.

Following are few verses from the Quran explaining the formation of the universe.

     The Big Bang Theory Confirmed

[21:30]  Do the unbelievers not realize that heaven and the earth used to be one solid mass that we exploded into existence? And from water we made all living things. Would they believe?

[21:31]  And we placed on earth stabilizers, lest it tumbles with them, and we placed straight roads therein, that they may be guided.

    The Ozone Layer plus more

[21:32]  And we rendered the sky a guarded ceiling. Yet, they are totally oblivious to all the portents therein.

[21:33]  And He is the One who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; each floating in its own orbit.

Atheism;

They think that religion is nonsensical

Islam;

Knowing about where we came from, and where we will go after we die are important issues which one should know about.  Islam is an avenue to do that.  Islam also clarifies the things which should be prohibited and things which should not prohibited.  This maintains once life in balance.  Islam also shows way to Heaven which makes life in this world less important which in turn makes oneself less greedy for material things and makes oneself more spiritual which in turn brings in humility and kindness.  But most important of all Muslims are asked to kill their egos and worship God alone.  This is very important because God is goodness and He is the all powerful and all knowing, by worshiping Him, we seek His help, and He provides the believers with happiness.  One might be a billionaire and still be unhappy, thus being happy in this world and the Hereafter is the utmost treasure which is guaranteed for the believers;

     Happiness: Now and Forever

[10:62]  Absolutely, GOD’s allies have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

[10:63]  They are those who believe and lead a righteous life.

[10:64]  For them, joy and happiness in this world, as well as in the Hereafter. This is GOD’s unchangeable law. Such is the greatest triumph.

This makes sense to me does it to you?

Atheism;

They once had a religion and have lost faith in it

Islam;

I do understand what Atheist mean by this comment.  Unfortunately, today culture and tradition has crept into most religions and because of that believers lose faith in the religion. Religion should show permanence but by including traditions it does not…

Atheism;

Religions seem to have done a lot of harm in the world

Islam;

Yes, religions can bring in conflict and wars. In Islam the war criteria is super simple you can only aggress against aggressors, as long as you can practice your faith without confrontation you live in peace…

Atheism;

The world is such a bad place that there can’t be a God

Islam;

This is where religion is important. Only religion can tell you the formation & classification of creation on earth. We know we all were living in the high Heavens when Satan stood up and challenged God that he could do better. Most of the human population agreed with him. God in His Great Wisdom created us from mud as Humans and created Satan from fire and send us down on earth as enemies of each other. All the bad that happens is through Satan and all the good that happens is from God.

Atheism

Religion stops people thinking in a rational and objective way.  Religion imposes irrational rules of good and bad behavior

Islam;

Islam has the following advice for the believers to live their daily lives, in essence human being is capable of distinction between good and bad;

[4:85] Whoever mediates a good deed receives a share of the credit thereof, and whoever mediates an evil work, incurs a share thereof. GOD controls all things.

The most important objective in Islam is devotion to God.  Therefore if we remember Him we will be rewarded with contentment and peace, because we know God is good and that He controls all things;

 Atheism;

Religion forces people to rely on outside authority, rather than becoming self-reliant

Islam;

Islam encourages oneself to be self-reliant but leave the outcome to God.  This aspect of Islam can be seen in the following verse where a war scenario of the time of Muhammad is described and self-reliant aspect is shown;

 The Messenger’s Kindness

[3:159]  It was mercy from GOD that you became compassionate towards them. Had you been harsh and mean-hearted, they would have abandoned you. Therefore, you shall pardon them and ask forgiveness for them, and consult them. Once you make a decision, carry out your plan, and trust in GOD. GOD loves those who trust in Him.*

*3:159 The currency of the U.S.A. is the only currency that carries the phrase: “In God we trust.” It is a fact that the American dollar has been the strongest currency in the world, and the standard by which all other currencies are measured.

Atheism;

Religion divides people, and is a cause of conflict and war.

Islam;

On the contrary Islam unites all the religions of the world, into one unified religion called Submission (Islam in Arabic);

     Unity of All Submitters

[2:62]  Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

Atheism;

The hierarchical structure of most religions is anti-democratic, and thus offends basic human rights.

Islam;

Islam believes in democracy as long as it allows practicing Muslims to practice their religion freely.  There is a verse in the Quran which stipulates that believers should abide by the laws of that country;

[3:112] Humiliation is their lot wherever they go, unless they abide by GOD’s covenant, and the people’s covenant.  They incurred wrath from GOD.  Consequently, they were committed to disgrace.   This is because they rejected GOD’s revelations, and used to kill the prophets unjustly.  This is because they disobeyed and transgressed.

Thus Islam permits both laws of God and laws of the land.

Atheism;

Religion doesn’t give equal treatment to women and gay people, and thus offends basic human rights.

Islam;

Islam treats both men and women in the sight of God as equals, at the sometime recognizes the fact that men have different qualities from women.  Thus men could do certain jobs better than women and women can do certain jobs better than men.  Quran says that both men and women should not covet  each other’s qualities;

     Men and Women Endowed With Unique Qualities

[4:32] You shall not covet the qualities bestowed upon each other by GOD; the men enjoy certain qualities, and the women enjoy certain qualities. You may implore GOD to shower you with His grace. GOD is fully aware of all things.

  Equality of Men & Women

[3:195] Their Lord responded to them: “I never fail to reward any worker among you for any work you do, be you male or female – you are equal to one another. Thus, those who immigrate, and get evicted from their homes, and are persecuted because of Me, and fight and get killed, I will surely remit their sins and admit them into gardens with flowing streams.” Such is the reward from GOD. GOD possesses the ultimate reward.

Atheism;

Religion obstructs scientific research

Islam;

Islam does not object scientific research as long as it is ethical and kind to nature.  In fact it confirms few of the scientific facts in the Quran such as;

     The Big Bang Theory Confirmed

[21:30]  Do the unbelievers not realize that the heaven and the earth used to be one solid mass that we exploded into existence? And from water we made all living things. Would they believe?

[21:31]  And we placed on earth stabilizers, lest it tumbles with them, and we placed straight roads therein, that they may be guided.

[21:32]  And we rendered the sky a guarded ceiling. Yet, they are totally oblivious to all the portents therein.

[21:33]  And He is the One who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; each floating in its own orbit.

     “Expansion of the Universe Theory” Confirmed

[51:47]  We constructed the sky with our hands, and we will continue to expand it.

[79:30]  He made the earth egg-shaped.*

   *79:30 The Arabic word “dahhaahaa” is derived from “Dahhyah” which means “egg.”

As for being environment friendly;

[25:63]  The worshipers of the Most Gracious are those who tread the earth gently, and when the ignorant speak to them, they only utter peace.

Islam encourages sustainability.

Atheism;

Religion wastes time and money.

Islam;

Islam encourages charity, starting with your family and then poor and needy.  Islam has obligatory charity system called Zakat.  This entails that a Muslim should pay charity which he/she can afford every time he/she gets paid.  Apart from this expense there is only two more.  Both of these are conditional, if one can afford it.  One is Pilgrimage to Kabaa the holy shrine in Mecca Saudi Arabia which Abraham and his son Ismail built long time ago.  And the other is if one has got some illness which stops one from fasting in the month of Ramadan (Muslim Calendar which is Lunar), then that person pays charity.  Other then these three expenses there are no festivals where one spends money and time.  With fasting the daily life carries on, with pilgrimage, if one is reverent enough then it is a pleasure to do it.  It takes only few days in a sunny climate;

[2:184]  Specific days (are designated for fasting); if one is ill or traveling, an equal number of other days may be substituted. Those who can fast, but with great difficulty, may substitute feeding one poor person for each day of breaking the fast. If one volunteers (more righteous works), it is better. But fasting is the best for you, if you only knew.

[3:97]  In it are clear signs: the station of Abraham. Anyone who enters it shall be granted safe passage. The people owe it to GOD that they shall observe Hajj to this shrine, when they can afford it. As for those who disbelieve, GOD does not need anyone.

How much to give as Zakat;

[17:26]  You shall give the due alms to the relatives, the needy, the poor, and the travelling alien, but do not be excessive, extravagant.

[17:27]  The extravagant are brethren of the devils, and the devil is unappreciative of his Lord.

If you can’t afford it still be nice;

[17:28]  Even if you have to turn away from them, as you pursue the mercy of your Lord, you shall treat them in the nicest manner.

Do Zakat on pay day;

     Zakat Must Be Given “On The Day Of Harvest”

[6:141]  He is the One who established gardens, trellised and trellised, and palm trees, and crops with different tastes, and olives, and pomegranate – fruits that are similar, yet dissimilar. Eat from their fruits, and give the due alms on the day of harvest, and do not waste anything. He does not love the wasters.

Baha’is & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Common traits between Baha’is and Islam;

Baha’is;

Baha’u’llah himself stated that he is
not God’s final messenger.

Islam;

Quran accepts that there will be
messengers after Muhammad in the following verses;

Not The Final Messenger

[33:40]
Muhammad was not the father of any man among you. He was a messenger of
GOD and the final prophet. GOD is fully aware of all things.

Major Prophecy Fulfilled

God’s Messenger of the
Covenant

[3:81]
GOD took a covenant from the prophets, saying, “I will give you the
scripture and wisdom. Afterwards, a messenger will come to confirm all existing
scriptures. You shall believe in him and support him.” He said, “Do
you agree with this, and pledge to fulfil this covenant?” They said,
“We agree.” He said, “You have thus borne witness, and I bear
witness along with you.”

Indeed in 20th century there
was a messenger who came, prophesised in (3:81) the above verse.  The above verse also explains the difference
between a prophet and a messenger.
Prophet brings a book (Muhammad brought Quran) while messenger gives
message from that book.  Muhammad was a
final prophet and but not a final messenger.
Since Muhammad was a final prophet there will not be any more prophets
who will come to earth after him, but there will be messengers who will
come.  There are two such messengers
mentioned in the Quran, Dr Rashad Khalifa prophesised in the above verse (3:81)
and Al-Muzzammil (The Cloaked One) alias Ijaz Chaudry mentioned in (73:1) who
is presently alive and trying to spread the message of worshipping God alone
using Quran and Bible.  Dr Rashad Khalifa
died in 1990 who also came with the same message, all messengers bring the same
fundamental message. worship God Alone. The following verse is addressing
Al-Muzzammil,

[73:1]  O you cloaked one.

Baha’is;

“The idea of progressive revelation is
of central significance for the Bahá’í faith”

Islam;

Quran does the same each generation can
get the relevant needs answered from the Quran. It is done by manipulation of
numbers and the verses of the Quran.

Difference between Baha’is faith and
Islam, Islamic point of view;

Baha’is;

“Baha’is believe that Baha’u’llah is the
most recent Manifestation of God”

Islam;

God is kept at the highest esteem in Islam like most religions which includes
your religion, so out of respect for God Muslims prefer to refer to the
messengers like in the following verse,

(3:32) Proclaim: “You shall obey
GOD and the messenger.”
If they turn away, GOD does not love the disbelievers.

Quran is very clear about “Manifestation
of God” in the following verse,

[6:158]
Are they waiting for the angels to come to them, or your Lord, or some
physical manifestations of your Lord? The day this happens, no soul will
benefit from believing if it did not believe before that and did not reap the
benefits of belief by leading a righteous life. Say, “Keep on waiting; we
too are waiting.”

Baha’is;

God is transcendent and can’t be known
directly. God is known through the lives and teachings of his great prophets
the most recent of whom was Baha’u’llah.

Islam;

The following verse tells the difference between prophet and a messenger
in the Quran,

(33:40)
Muhammad was not the father of any man among you.
He was a messenger of GOD and the final prophet. GOD is fully aware of all
things.

Quran being the final testament
a last book from God to us. However this verse also confirms that messengers
will still be coming to earth but Muhammad was the last prophet.

God is transcendent but He is
reachable.  Quran talks about signs in
the Heavens and the Earth which are created by Omnipresent God thus these signs
are directly related to the Almighty and proof of existence of God for the believers.  Messenger’s function is to warn and bring
good news.  And the purpose is to deliver
the message from God in most efficient manner. According to Quran Al-Muzzammil
alias Ijaz Chaudry (The Cloaked One) is the present messenger.

[3:190]
In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of
night and day, there are signs for those who possess intelligence.

[4:165]
Messengers to deliver good news, as well as warnings. Thus, the people
will have no excuse when they face GOD, after all these messengers have come to
them. GOD is Almighty, Most Wise.

[6:99]
He is the One who sends down from the sky water, whereby we produce all
kinds of plants. We produce from the green material multitudes of complex
grains, palm trees with hanging clusters, and gardens of grapes, olives and
pomegranate; fruits that are similar, yet dissimilar. Note their fruits as they
grow and ripen. These are signs for people who believe.

[5:92]
You shall obey GOD, and you shall obey the messenger, and beware. If you
turn away, then know that the sole duty of our messenger is to deliver the
message efficiently.

Baha’is;

All human beings have
a soul that lives forever. All human beings are members of a single race, which
should soon be united in a single global community. All Human beings are equal
but different; there should be no inequality between races or sexes. All
religions have the same spiritual foundation, despite their apparent
differences.

Baha’is religion may
be unique in the way that it accepts all other faiths as true and valid. Baha’is
accept the divine nature of the missions of Abraham Moses, Zoroaster, the
Buddha, Jesus and the Prophet Muhammad. They believe each one was a further
stage in the revelation of God. Other prophets and Manifestations are also
accepted.

Islam;

Muslims believes in
one religion Submission to God or in Arabic Islam.  Quran is clear that the intention is the most
important part of Islam anyone who believes in the Last Day, lead a righteous
life and worship God is a Muslim regardless of what his/her religion is
called.  Quran also states that all
messengers of God fundamentally brought the same message .i.e. Worship God
Alone.

          Many
Messengers  /  One Message

[2:253]
These messengers; we blessed some of them more than others. For example,
GOD spoke to one, and we raised some of them to higher ranks. And we gave
Jesus, son of Mary, profound miracles and supported him with the Holy Spirit.
Had GOD willed, their
followers would not have fought with each other,
after the clear proofs had come to them. Instead, they disputed among
themselves; some of them believed, and some disbelieved. Had GOD willed, they
would not have fought. Everything is in accordance with GOD’s will.

          Minimum
Requirements For Salvation

[5:69]
Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the converts, and the
Christians; any of them who (1) believe in GOD and (2) believe in the Last Day,
and (3) lead a righteous life, have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

religion compared with Islam.  However,

Buddhism & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Common traits between Buddhism & Islam;

Buddhism;

Buddhism is a spiritual tradition that focuses on personal spiritual development and the attainment of a deep insight into the true nature of life.

Islam;

Islam is also spiritual, in nature however, Islam is not a tradition but a belief system.  Islam also gives deep insight to human nature but obtains guidance from the environment and nature and through inspiration which is believed to have come from God.   Muslims follow God’s guidance by observing the Quran which is the Final Testament. From time-to-time God send messengers which are people like you and me who prove through struggles of life to be good and reach nirvana. I am that messenger who has spent a lifetime to find meaning of life. This messenger than uses a book as a starting point and enhances the message according to the modernity of that generation…The following two verses from the Quran sums it all up as religion for all;

[2:62]  Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a good life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

[2:112]  Indeed, those who submit themselves absolutely to GOD alone, while leading a good life, will receive their recompense from their Lord; they have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

Buddhism;

Buddhism teaches that all life is interconnected, so compassion is natural and important.

Islam;

Quran confirms that nature and environment has direct effect on each one of us and it is important we tread it gently,

[25:63]  The worshipers of the Most Gracious are those who tread the earth gently, and when the ignorant speak to them, they only utter peace.

Very recently the COP28 President Sultan al-Jaber snubbed under astonishing participants of that summit that there is no proof that earth will be 1.2% warmer than before if no action was taken to reduce fossil fuel consumption in response to that the participants just showed restraint and peace. This is the application of this verse, 1400 year later working in 21st Century…

Buddhism;

Buddhists can worship both at home or at a temple

Islam;

Muslim’s also can worship both at home or mosque;

[7:31]  O children of Adam, you shall be clean and dress nicely when you go to the masque. And eat and drink moderately; Surely, He does not love the gluttons.

[10:87]  We inspired Moses and his brother. “Maintain your homes in Egypt for the time being, turn your homes into synagogues, and maintain the Contact Prayers (Salat). Give good news to the believers.”

Quran some time through in nuggets of information quite appropriately in a verse, like in {7:31)  says not be “Gluttons”, obviously the reason is that you are going to place of worship and eating a lot will give you indigestion.

Buddhism;

Origin of suffering (Samudāya)

Our day-to-day troubles may seem to have easily identifiable causes: thirst, pain from an injury, sadness from the loss of a loved one. In the second of his Noble Truths, though, the Buddha claimed to have found the cause of all suffering – and it is much more deeply rooted than our immediate worries.  Three forces defined as follows;

Greed & desire

Ignorance & delusion

Hatred & destructive urges

Islam;

It can get become difficult to not to have “greed, desire, not to be ignorant or delusional or not to hate some one or not be destructive”, Quran makes it amenable by letting God to be the cause of it, so that you consider God watching over us Who is Ever present. That becomes a support mechanism for the believers.

Greed & desire, Islam also negates these two aspects of human nature.  Islam promotes charity and discourages hording;

There is a subtle difference between personal desire which is not seen in a positive way and the desire attributed to God, the want of closeness to God by means of worship which is acceptable.

Ignorance & delusion, Islam also negates these aspects in the human nature.  Ignorance is acceptable if it is by mistake and that person promises not to be ignorant again and repent to God else all ignorant behavior is talked in a negative sense in the Quran whereas the enlightenment in the Quran is opposite to ignorance.  God talks about the people who want to deceive God (by practicing non-religious events in the name of God for example) they in fact deceive themselves.

[2:9]  In trying to deceive GOD and those who believe, they only deceive themselves without perceiving.

Hatred & destructive urges, Islam promotes compassion and constructive urges and abhors hatred & destructive urges;

[2:205]  As soon as he leaves, he roams the earth corruptingly, destroying properties and lives. GOD does not love corruption.

[5:91]  The devil wants to provoke animosity and hatred among you through intoxicants and gambling, and to distract you from remembering GOD, and from observing the Contact Prayers (Salat). Will you then refrain?

Difference between Buddhism and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Buddhism;

There is no belief in a personal God. It is not centered on the relationship between humanity and God.

Islam;

Muslim’s believe in One God the creator of Heavens and Earth.  Islam is centered towards being appreciative of what we have and thank God for providing that.  Being unappreciative is paramount to idol worship and is the only sin unforgivable by God if practiced until death.

[7:144]  He said, “O Moses, I have chosen you, out of all the people, with My messages and by speaking to you. Therefore, take what I have given you and be appreciative.”

[14:7]  Your Lord has decreed: “The more you thank Me, the more I give you.” But if you turn unappreciative, then My retribution is severe.

Buddhism;

Buddhists believe that nothing is fixed or permanent – change is always possible

Islam;

Muslim’s also believe that nothing is permanent for us except the word and presence of God.  For us mortals change is always possible.  And indeed as far as Islam is concerned God sends new information through His messengers since the time began.  There is lot new which I found and for you to look at in this site from the Quran.  God communicates with us through inspiration or by sending a messenger who receives revelations.

                 How God Communicates With Us

[42:51]  No human being can communicate with GOD except through inspiration, or from behind a barrier, or by sending a messenger through whom He reveals what He wills. He is the Most High, Most Wise.

Buddhism;

The path to Enlightenment is through the practice and development of morality, meditation and wisdom.

Suffering (Dukkha)

Suffering comes in many forms. Three obvious kinds of suffering correspond to the first three sights the Buddha saw on his first journey outside his palace: old age, sickness and death.

Islam;

For the believers in Islam a complete happiness is guaranteed.  Happiness is not achieved by wealth, happiness is achieved by having a healthy soul and by being appreciative of what we have and thank God for that.  Quran is clear to explain that God controls everything in the Heavens and Earth, hence He is the ultimate provider of happiness and those who seek God are happy people.  The main reason for their happiness is that they are content with what God provides them with.

                 Happiness: Now and Forever

[10:62]  Absolutely, GOD’s allies have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

[10:63]  They are those who believe and lead a good life.

[10:64]  For them, joy and happiness in this world, as well as in the Hereafter. This is GOD’s unchangeable law. Such is the greatest triumph.

[10:65]  Do not be saddened by their utterances. All power belongs to GOD. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient.

[3:109]  To GOD belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth, and all matters are controlled by GOD.

Buddhism;

Cessation of suffering (Nirodha)

The Buddha taught that the way to extinguish desire, which causes suffering, is to liberate oneself from attachment.

This is the third Noble Truth – the possibility of liberation

Islam;

Quran is clear to the believers that this life is temporary and that the Hereafter is ever lasting.  The believers will be rewarded generously in the Hereafter.  For the believers a loss of life in a family is like separation for a short time before meeting them in Paradise.  As for losing material things God emphasizes on spiritual wealth rather than material wealth.

[2:174]  Those who conceal GOD’s revelations in the scripture, in exchange for a cheap material gain, eat but fire into their bellies. GOD will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them. They have incurred a painful retribution.

[3:14]  Adorned for the people are the worldly pleasures, such as the women, having children, piles upon piles of gold and silver, trained horses, livestock, and crops. These are the materials of this world. A far better abode is reserved at GOD.

Buddhism;

The Fourth Noble Truth

Path to the cessation of suffering (Magga)

The final Noble Truth is the Buddha’s prescription for the end of suffering. This is a set of principles called the Eightfold Path.

The Eightfold Path is also called the Middle Way: it avoids both indulgence and severe asceticism, neither of which the Buddha had found helpful in his search for enlightenment.

Islam;

Nothing remains the same it is called principle of entropy everything in this universe goes toward destruction to its lowest form a brick tries to become dust from where it was created hence the buildings get old and disintegrate that is the highest entropy and the building was the lowest form of entropy. What this law says is that nothing can remain the same and change is inevitable for everything… So all laws come from God therefore Islam believe in nothing is certain except the creator the God… If you know this you would automatically follow the “middle way” like Buddha discovered in his journey of enlightenment.

Indulgence;

[9:79]  Those who criticize the generous believers for giving too much, and ridicule the poor believers for giving too little, GOD despises them. They have incurred a painful retribution.

[89:19]  And consuming the inheritance of helpless orphans.

[89:20]  And loving the money too much.

Candomblé & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Candomblé at a glance;

Candomblé is a religion based on African beliefs which is particularly popular in Brazil. It is also practiced in other countries, and has as many as two million followers.

Candomblé is an African-Brazilian religion. It was born of a people who were taken from their homes in Africa and transplanted to Brazil during the slave trade.

Difference between Candomblé and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Candomblé;

Practitioners of Candomblé believe in one all powerful God called Oludumaré who is served by lesser deities. These deities are called orixas. (They can also be called voduns and inkices.)

Islam;

Islam also believes in one all powerful God, who is called by different names by different people but mean the same thing the creator of Heavens & Earth.  Unlike Candomblé there are no lesser or equal deities in Islam who have any powers, because all power is associated with God, who lets things happen to humans based on what decisions were made by these humans in the Heavenly Feud;

[38:69]  “I had no knowledge previously, about the feud in the High Society.*

*38:69 The feud in the High Society was triggered by Satan’s challenge to God’s absolute authority. This is definitely the most important event in the history of the human race. We failed to make a firm stand regarding God’s absolute authority. This life represents the third and final chance to redeem ourselves

There are angels associated with each human being who record what that human is doing but all power they have comes from God.

[82:10]  Oblivious to the fact that there are (invisible) keepers around you.

[82:11]  They are honest recorders.

Candomblé;

Candomblé is an oral tradition and therefore has no holy scriptures.

Islam;

Islam is a belief system and has a holy scripture The Quran.  Quran confirms and supersedes the Old Testament and the New Testament since Quran being The Final Testament and there will be no more scriptures after this.

Candomblé;

Followers go to terreiro for a number of reasons. Many go to have their fortunes told. To do this, a priest or priestess casts cowry shells and interprets the pattern in which they fall. Others go for months to immerse themselves in the spiritual and become possessed by their orixa (deities).

Islam;

Muslim’s go to Mosques to worship God alone and supplication.  Muslim’s do not believe in fortune telling.  Islam recognizes that these practices do take place but Muslim’s are not allowed to take part in it.  Quran, talks about Jinn’s who are invisible to us but they can see us.  Majority of Jinn’s are disbelievers and they can influence people’s lives.  Fortune telling and voodoo are part of what Jinn’s can associate with.  Muslim’s are asked to stay well away from these practices, and ask for help from God alone.

Christianity & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Difference between Christianity and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Christianity;

Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Islam;

According to Quran, this is not the first time people have called someone son of God;

[9:30]  The Jews said, “Ezra is the son of GOD,” while the Christians said, “Jesus is the son of GOD!” These are blasphemies uttered by their mouths. They thus match the blasphemies of those who have disbelieved in the past. GOD condemns them. They have surely deviated.

Quran categorically states that God has no son now or ever;

[17:111]  And proclaim: “Praise be to GOD, who has never begotten a son, nor does He have a partner in His kingship, nor does He need any ally out of weakness,” and magnify Him constantly.

Christianity;

Christians believe that God sent his Son to earth to save humanity from the consequences of its sins.

Islam;

The destiny of a person is already written before the creation of Heavens and the Earth.  This episode is referred to as “Feud in the High Society” in the Quran.  When this happened according to what decision each of us (humans) made, we live our lives on earth.  Depending on that decision God creates circumstances and environment for us on earth, the believers are guided and the disbelievers are not.  Like Christians, Muslims believe that we are born sinners, however unlike Christians our sin is that in this feud we sided with Satan and not with God. Based on our decision in “Feud in High Society” which might border on righteousness God guides us.  However, we are oblivious of this fact (.i.e. what our decision is) thus the best solution for each one of us is to search for the truth, which leads us to find God and in turn a, eternal life.  Quran is also clear about a fact that everyone is responsible for his/her own deeds and no one can remove or share other person’s deeds bad or good.  It is also clear in the Quran that, apparent success of a human being might not be success in the Hereafter, because God is Most Merciful and he provides for both, believers and disbelievers.

[4:84]  You shall fight for the cause of GOD; you are responsible only for your own soul, and exhort the believers to do the same. GOD will neutralize the power of those who disbelieve. GOD is much more powerful, and much more effective.

[53:39]  Every human being is responsible for his own works.

This life represents the third and final chance to redeem ourselves.

[2:126]  Abraham prayed: “My Lord, make this a peaceful land, and provide its people with fruits. Provide for those who believe in GOD and the Last Day.” (God) said, “I will also provide for those who disbelieve. I will let them enjoy, temporarily, then commit them to the retribution of Hell, and a miserable destiny.”

Christianity;

One of the most important concepts in Christianity is that of Jesus giving his life on the Cross (the Crucifixion) and rising from the dead on the third day (the Resurrection).

Islam;

Quran is clear that Jesus did not die on crucifix;

[4:157]  And for claiming that they killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of GOD. In fact, they never killed him, they never crucified him – they were made to think that they did. All factions who are disputing in this matter are full of doubt concerning this issue. They possess no knowledge; they only conjecture. For certain, they never killed him.

The following verse tells us how Jesus died (seems like very peacefully);

[3:55]  Thus, GOD said, “O Jesus, I am terminating your life, raising you to Me, and ridding you of the disbelievers. I will exalt those who follow you above those who disbelieve, till the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is the ultimate destiny of all of you, then I will judge among you regarding your disputes.

There is no mention of Jesus being resurrected after three days.  The end of the world is called Day of Resurrection when the disbelievers will be resurrected, from, dead this is the only instance of human resurrection in Islam.  Jesus with all other messengers and believers is in Paradise, the same Paradise from where Adam and Eve were evicted from.

Christianity;

Christians believe that there is only one God, but that there are three elements of this God;

God the Father

God the Son

The Holy Spirit

Islam;

Is clear that there is only One God and it has just One Element which is God the Almighty Creator of The Heavens and Earth and everything between.  There is no other god beside The God.  Worshiping, some being other then God is idol worship which is the gravest sin in Islam.  God is forgiving and merciful, he can forgive any sin other then idol worship if maintained till death.  One of the reason why idol worship is so wrong is that God created the Heavens and the Earth, He created us provided us with provisions like various foods, roof over our heads, gave us the intelligence to live our lives successfully and much more, if we then turn around and thank anyone else other than God, like prophets or saints who are mere mortals and humans like us then it is quite wrong isn’t it?  Thus idol worship is the greatest sin!

[2:22]  The One who made the earth habitable for you, and the sky a structure. He sends down from the sky water, to produce all kinds of fruits for your sustenance. You shall not set up idols to rival GOD, now that you know.

[2:163]  Your god is one god; there is no god but He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

[3:2]  GOD: there is no god except He; the Living, the Eternal.

[3:18]  GOD bears witness that there is no god except He, and so do the angels and those who possess knowledge. Truthfully and equitably, He is the absolute god; there is no god but He, the Almighty, Most Wise.

             The Unforgivable Sin

[4:48]  GOD does not forgive idolatry,* but He forgives lesser offenses for whomever He wills. Anyone who sets up idols beside GOD, has forged a horrendous offense.

 *4:48 Idol worship is not forgivable, if maintained until death. One can always repent from any offense, including idolatry, before death comes (see 4:18 & 40:66).

Christianity;

Life after death;

Christians believe that there is a life after earthly death.

While the actual nature of this life is not known, Christians believe that many spiritual experiences in this life help to give them some idea of what eternal life will be like.

Islam;

Life after death;

Muslims also believe in life after death.  Quran explains life after death a joyous experience for the believers and hellish experience for the disbelievers.   Since it is very difficult to explain to someone what the chocolate tastes like without actually tasting it, similarly the experience of Hereafter cannot be explained.  However, Quran uses analogies to explain Heaven and Hell.

[7:43]  We will remove all jealousy from their hearts. Rivers will flow beneath them, and they will say, “GOD be praised for guiding us. We could not possibly be guided, if it were not that GOD has guided us. The messengers of our Lord did bring the truth.” They will be called: “This is your Paradise. You have inherited it, in return for your works.”

 [26:85]  “Make me one of the inheritors of the blissful Paradise.

 [29:58]  Those who believe and lead a righteous life, we will surely settle them in Paradise, with mansions and flowing streams. Eternally they abide therein. What a beautiful reward for the workers.

 [30:15]  As for those who believe and lead a righteous life, they will be in Paradise, rejoicing.

[32:19]  As for those who believe and lead a righteous life, they have deserved the eternal Paradise. Such is their abode, in return for their works.

[40:70]  They are the ones who have disbelieved in the scripture, and in the messages we have sent with our messengers. Therefore, they will surely find out.

            [40:71]  The shackles will be around their necks, and the chains will be used to drag them.

            [40:72]  In the Inferno, then in the Fire, they will burn.

            [40:73]  They will be asked, “Where are the idols you used to worship,

 [40:74]  “beside GOD?” They will say, “They have abandoned us. In fact, when we worshiped them, we were worshiping nothing.” Thus does GOD send the disbelievers astray.

[40:75]  This is because you used to rejoice in false doctrines on earth, and you used to promote them.

[40:76]  Enter the gates of Gehenna (Hell), wherein you abide forever. What a miserable destiny for the arrogant ones.

Christianity;

The Saints;

These days, the word saints most commonly used to refer to a Christian who has lived a particularly good and holy life on earth, and with whom miracles are claimed to have been associated after their death.

Islam;

The Saints;

Islam also recognizes saints.  But saints cannot produce miracles, only God does, maybe through them, the example of Jesus and Moses both were saints and prophets who could do miracles by God’s leave.  When the saints die that is their end on earth, they cannot produce miracles.  Islam recognizes another entity called Jinn’s or devil who is companion of all humans and when the human dies the Jinn is born.  Since this, Jinn had lived all his unborn life with this human, they know a lot about that human, hence the modern term ghost or spirit.  These are invisible and are given great power they could be seem to perform miracles.  Muslim’s are not allowed to associate with Jinn’s who in majority are disbelievers.  Example of this is Solomon and Sheba’s castle, at that time it was allowed by Muslim’s to gain righteous works from Jinn’s, but that is not allowed now, because humans tend to use Jinn’s to harm each other rather than do good work with them.

Christianity;

When life begins;

The Church says that human life begins when the woman’s egg is fertilised by a male sperm.

Islam;

When life begins;

According to Islam, life begins after fetus is formed.  Before fetus is formed there is no life thus abortion is allowed at that time.  God has forbidden taking life thus one is not taking life before fetus is formed.

[6:151]  Say, “Come let me tell you what your Lord has really prohibited for you: You shall not set up idols besides Him. You shall honor your parents. You shall not kill your children from fear of poverty – we provide for you and for them. You shall not commit gross sins, obvious or hidden. You shall not kill – GOD has made life sacred – except in the course of justice. These are His commandments to you, that you may understand.”

The above verse confirms that it is forbidden to take life.

[22:5]  O people, if you have any doubt about resurrection, (remember that) we created you from dust, and subsequently from a tiny drop, which turns into a hanging (embryo), then it becomes a fetus that is given life or deemed lifeless. We thus clarify things for you. We settle in the wombs whatever we will for a predetermined period. We then bring you out as infants, then you reach maturity. While some of you die young, others live to the worst age, only to find out that no more knowledge can be attained beyond a certain limit. Also, you look at a land that is dead, then as soon as we shower it with water, it vibrates with life and grows all kinds of beautiful plants.

This verse confirms that life begins when fetus is formed.

Christianity;

War;

The main Christian, view of war ethics contained in the doctrine of the Just war.  The basic assumption of modern Christians is that war is rarely justified and should be avoided unless the Just War conditions are met.

An individual Christian may believe that the standard of evidence and argument required for them to support a war is higher than the standard of evidence that national leaders may require to go to war.

Christianity is no longer (if it ever was) wholly against war. Some say that modern Christianity has a ‘presumption against war’, but others say that it has a ‘presumption against injustice’ – and the bias against war comes from the injustice that war can do.

This view says that the aim of Christianity is to promote a world in which peace and justice flourish everywhere: war may sometimes be the tool needed to do this, and waging war may sometimes be a lesser evil (a lesser injustice) than allowing injustice to persist or tolerating the victimization of innocent people

Islam;

War;

Islam also favors peace and tolerance, but is not totally against war.  The circumstances to justify war in Islam are as follows;

In defense

In order to practice religion freely

If oppressed

There is no other circumstance under which the war is allowed.

[2:190]  You may fight in the cause of GOD against those who attack you, but do not aggress. GOD does not love the aggressors.

[2:193]  You may also fight them to eliminate oppression, and to worship GOD freely. If they refrain, you shall not aggress; aggression is permitted only against the aggressors.

[60:8]  GOD does not enjoin you from befriending those who do not fight you because of religion, and do not evict you from your homes. You may befriend them and be equitable towards them. GOD loves the equitable.

Christianity;

While the Gospels clearly depict Jesus as having a special relationship with God, do they actually affirm what Christianity later explicitly affirmed, that Jesus is God incarnate, God become flesh? The evidence points in different directions. Mark, the earliest of the four, certainly believes that Jesus is God’s Son, but he also includes this extraordinary passage:

As he was setting out on a journey, a man ran up and knelt before him, and asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone.”

Mark 10:17-18

Islam;

Even reading Bible carefully affirms the core ideas mentioned in the Quran as in the example above Mark 10:17-18.

It is amazing how similar Sikhism is to Islam:

Oneness of mankind:

By Ijaz Chaudry

‘Recognise the Lord’s light within all, and do not consider social class or status; there are no classes or castes in the world hereafter”– Guru Granth Sahib Ji (Ang 349).

6          159     Those who divide themselves into sects do not belong with you. Their judgment rests with GOD then He will inform them of everything they had done.

 Quran uses stronger word “sect” to describe oneness of mankind. This word not only implies no distinction in status or class but also sects in religion as in the following verse;

  • 32 (Do not be) like those who divide their religion into sects; each party rejoicing with what they have.

Quran gives opportunity for reader of the Quran to add words sometimes this gives opportunity for the reader comprehend his/her belief. I have devised a way to express the Arabic words as a numeral and divide by 19 which is devised for authentication. Missing words “Do not be” or Lum Takuna their respective gv’s are 70 & 476. 30 + 32 + 70 + 476 = 608 = 32 x 19. Position 2 is “Command used in various situations”, indeed this is direct command from God to not to divide and create sects. Level is 3 “Include missing information”, indeed the code includes missing words. **Al-Muzzammil

Gender Equality:

 ‘From woman, man is born; within woman, man is conceived; to woman he is engaged and married. Woman becomes his friend; through woman, the future generations come. When his woman dies, he seeks another woman; to woman he is bound. So why call her bad? From her, kings are born. From woman, woman is born; without woman, there would be no one at all” – Guru Granth Sahib Ji (Ang,473).

Guru Granth has beautifully described man and women; since Guru Granth is a scripture and Quran the summation of all scriptures we have summery response to this issue Quran talks about gender equality as follows;

3            195 Their Lord responded to them: “I never fail to reward any worker among you for any work you do be you male or female – you are equal to one another. Thus those who immigrate and get evicted from their homes and are persecuted because of Me and fight and get killed I will surely remit their sins and admit them into gardens with flowing streams.” Such is the reward from GOD. GOD possesses the ultimate reward.

*It has been long argued the issue of male and female equality in Islam and the World. This verse clarifies this issue by informing us that they are equal.

3            36   When she gave birth to her, she said “My Lord I have given birth to a girl” – GOD was fully aware of what she bore – “The male is not the same as the female. I have named her Mary and I invoke Your protection for her and her descendants from the rejected devil.”

*This verse gives an opportunity for us to find out if Quran recognises transgender. Transgender are different from both male and female; so we use this verse with geometric values of transgender in Arabic which is called Al-Mautahiyolyen Jinsiyun their respective geometric values are 31, 544 & 124; when we concatenate these with (3:36) we get complete multiple of 19; 3 36 124 544 31 = 1769076549 X 19; thus Quran recognises transgender; the temporal connection suggests that transgender’s were present in the olden times as well. **Al-Muzzammil

*The highlighted phrase above in (3:36) strongly suggest that Mary had only one child Jesus and no other family; the reason for this assumption is based on fact that Jesus was righteous but we cannot guarantee anyone else to be righteous from her family therefore there were no more descendants from Mary’s family; hence the tales about Mary and Jesus having families are not true based on this fact. **Al-Muzzammil

Langar:

Guru Nanak Dev Ji started the Sikh concept of langar over 500 years ago as a child. Translating as” communal kitchen”, langar sees every Gurdwara (Sikh temple) in the world have an open kitchen that distributes free meals all day, every day, to anyone, regardless of faith, gender, age or status.

Quran also talks about charity and feeding the poor and needy:

30          38   Therefore you shall give the relatives their rightful share (of the Obligatory Charity; Zakat) as well as the poor and the traveling alien. This is better for those who sincerely seek GOD’s pleasure; they are the winners.

*Missing words “of the Zakat” or Fi Al-Zakat gv 90 & 469; 90 + 469 + 30 + 38 = 627 = 33 x 19; Position is 3 “Principle or rule clarified”, indeed, this code highlights the principle of donation of charity called Al-Zakat which the obligatory charity; this verse is command from God to give Al-Zakat to all three category of people, all three or all three one at a time depending on who is in more need of charity among these three categories. Level is 3 “Include missing information” indeed this code highlights the missing words. **Al-Muzzammil

Indeed Islam also encourages charity and feeding the poor and needy, despite of race, creed or religion;

69          33   For he did not believe in GOD Most Great

69          34   Nor did he advocate the feeding of the poor.

Simran (spiritual contemplation);

Indeed Quran prescribes strongly to worship God and remember Him most of the time;

3          191      They remember GOD while standing sitting and, on their sides, and they reflect upon the creation of the heavens and the earth: “Our Lord You did not create all this in vain. Be You glorified. Save us from the retribution of Hell.

Kirat Karo honest work Earning/making a living honestly, without exploitation or fraud;;

Indeed Islam encourages honest work as in the following verse;

6            152 You shall not touch the orphans’ money except in the best manner until they reach maturity. You shall give full weight and full measure when you trade equitably. We do not burden any soul beyond its means. You shall be just when you bear witness even against your relatives. You shall fulfil your covenant with GOD. These are His commandments to you that you may take heed.

Kaam (lust):

Lust is forbidden in Islam:

79          38   Who was preoccupied with this life.

79          39   Hell will be the abode.

79          40   As for the one who reverenced the majesty of his Lord and enjoined the self from sinful lusts.

79          41   Paradise will be the abode.

Krodh (anger);

Indeed Islam encourages to supress anger and pardon;

3          134      who give to charity during the good times as well as the bad times. They are suppressors of anger and pardoners of the people. GOD loves the charitable.

42        37        They avoid gross sins and vice and when angered they forgive.

Lobh (greed):

Islam frowns on greed;

68          10   Do not obey every lowly swearer.

68          11   A slanderer a backbiter.

68          12   Forbidder of charity a transgressor a sinner.

68          13   Unappreciative and greedy.

 68         14   Even though he possessed enough money and children.

Moh (attachment, e.g. to material things or people):

Islam prefers the life of Hereafter then the materials of this world;

100        6     The human being is unappreciative of his Lord.

100        7     He bears witness to this fact.

100        8     He loves material things excessively.

100        9     Does he not realize that the day will come when the graves are opened?

100        10   And all secrets are brought out.

100        11   They will find out on that day that their Lord has been fully Cognizant of them.

3          14        Adorned for the people are the worldly pleasures such as the women having children piles upon piles of gold and silver trained horses’ livestock and crops. These are the materials of this world. A far better abode is reserved at GOD.

Hankaar (ego, pride):

Quran talks about ego as a vice;

25        43        Have you seen the one whose god is his, own ego? Will you be his advocate?

45       23        Have you noted the one whose god is his ego? Consequently, GOD sends him astray despite his knowledge seals his hearing and his mind and places a veil on his eyes. Who then can guide him after such a decision by GOD? Will you not remember?

_________________________________________________________________________

Islam is an Arabic word meaning Submission. According to the following verse anyone from any religion, race or creed could be a Muslim (Submitter to God). One does not require to do 5 pillars of Islam, all is required is the belief in the following 3 points;

5         69 Surely those who believe those who are Jewish the converts and the Christians; any of them who (1) believe in GOD and (2) believe in the Last Day and (3) do good works have nothing to fear nor will they grieve.

How long did Hinduism last?

The religious system known as Hinduism evolved very gradually, emerging out of the prehistoric religions of the sub-Indian region and the Vedic religion of the Indo-Aryan civilization, which lasted roughly from 1500 to 500 BCE.

How many followers does hinduism have?

Hinduism, with about one billion followers is the world’s third largest religion, after Christianity and Islam. However, it is not a religion of the same kind as the other two main religions.

What do Hindus believe in?

Hindus believe in samsara, an eternal cycle of birth, life and deaths or reincarnation, explains How Stuff Works. In Hinduism, each individual soul is considered immortal or eternal. Samsara is controlled by karma, which, in Hinduism, is the moral law of action and reaction.

How is Hinduism the oldest religion?

Even though Hinduism is considered the oldest religion on record, it is actually not one single religionHinduism is a combination of Vaishnavism, Shaivism, and Shaktism. It was based on the morality of the times and adheres to dharma, karma, and other social norms.

What does Vedic mean?

“Vedic”, comes from the word “Veda” in Sanskrit, which means knowledge, in a very broad context. Vedic knowledge embodies every area of human experience. Thus not only spiritual, but medical, political, technical, cultural, and astrological areas of study were to be found in the Sanskrit Vedic writings.

Islam Today & True Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Introduction;

One might be surprised and confused by this terminology “Islam Today”, so here is a brief account in a way to explain this terminology.

Islam is the oldest religion of the world, the first Muslim was Adam.  In those days belief in God was sufficient to be a believer.  Islam in Arabic means Submission, which fits in nicely with belief in God and what Adam did.

Abraham is the founder of Islam as we know it (22:78).  All the religious rites were brought by Abraham (2:127-128), who called this religion Islam.  Since then all the practices of Islam should have remained the same.  All the scriptures would have had the details of all practices of Islam.  However, corruption, omission, misrepresentation, ignorance and selling the revelations for cheap material gains took place over the centuries and the Old and New Testament had been distorted beyond recognition (2:79).  However, our Merciful God send revelations to Muhammad called Quran the Final Testament and within it promised to keep it in its original form in future (43:3-4, 85:21-22).

However, despair crept in by Muslims when they could not find details of Salat and Zakat in the Quran.  They started to uphold Hadith, which was written 200 years after Muhammad, by presumably same desperate Muslims who could not found details of Salat and Zakat, and made up these based on what they thought how Muhammad did his Salat and Zakat (7:185, 12:111, 31:6 all these verses acknowledge the fact that Hadiths are fabrications).

Since then, there have been two messengers who played significant part in bringing Salat and Zakat from the Quran.  This research was started by a messenger called Dr. Rashad Khalifa (3:81 confirm prophecy of his arrival) who was the first in the late 1900’s to initiate the mechanism of 19 and the Quran, which proceeded into finding the Salat and Zakat from the Quran. It was completed by a messenger called Al-Muzzammil AKA Ijaz Chaudry.

I created a new language of Math’s called Theme, Position and Temporal connection which enabled to excess hidden information in the Quran which include confirmation of the right way to do Salat (the five daily prayers for each phase of the day) and performing the proper way to give Zakat (the obligatory charity to be paid on the pay day). The Muslims give Zakat every year, what is the poor relative going to do rest of the year, he or she has to pay bills buy food to eat.

Since use of this math’s the Quran becomes a beacon for all the knowledge one needs to follow Islam.

Difference between Islam Today and the True Islam, Islamic point of view;

Islam Today;

The word Islam means ‘submission to the will of God’.  Muslims believe that there is only One God. Pillars of Islam; these pillars are the declaration of faith praying five times a day, giving money to charity, fasting and a pilgrimage to Mecca (at least once).

True Islam;

At a first glance it might seem that the true Islam and Islam today both adopt the same values, but this is not true under the surface.

The proclamation of Islam by Muslims today is “There is no god besides God and Muhammad is His messenger”, while the true proclamation as practiced by Abraham and Muhammad is “There is no god besides God” (2:163, 3:2).

The five Salats for the Muslims Today are driven from Hadith, while the true Muslims have found all details of Salat in the Quran.

The Obligatory Charity given by Muslims today is 2.5%, while Quran insists to pay Obligatory Charity as much or as little one can afford without being foolish at the time when one gets paid (17:26-30).

Fasting by Muslims Today; the start and finish of Fasting is always in dispute, they do “Travies” recitation of the Quran which is included within Salat, and when the Fasting finishes they celebrate Eid a pagan custom.  The Fasting by True Muslims is that the start and finish Fasting is based on Astronomy and could be different for different continents, there is no inclusion of “Travies” because Quran does not say so, there is no celebration of Eid because Quran does not say so.

The pilgrimage to Mecca, Muslims today made a custom to visit Medina where Muhammad is buried as part of pilgrimage, while Quran does not say so.  The question is if Muslims today follow what Muhammad did then they are contradicting themselves, because when Muhammad was alive he could not have visited Medina as part of pilgrimage.  The pilgrimage is done in few days each year which causes problems where hundreds get trampled over and killed, while the Quran is clear that pilgrimage has to be done any time in the four sacred months.

Islam Today;

According to Muslims, God sent a number of prophets to mankind to teach them how to live according to His law.

True Islam;

Although they agree in principle that prophets brought the law onto man kind but they only follow one prophet Muhammad in fact we have choice of following any prophet if we wish, following Noah is believing in God living a good life, following Abraham is to do 5 rites of Islam. The following verse confirms what has been said here,

[42:13]  He decreed for you the same religion decreed for Noah, and what we inspired to you, and what we decreed for Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: “You shall uphold this one religion, and do not divide it.” The idol worshipers will greatly resent what you invite them to do. GOD redeems to Himself whomever He wills; He guides to Himself only those who totally submit.

Islam Today;

Jesus, Moses and Abraham are respected as prophets of God.

True Muslims;

There are other prophets as well but the most important thing to remember is that they should all be respected as one respects Muhammad;

                No Distinction Among God’s Messengers

[2:136]  Say, “We believe in GOD, and in what was sent down to us, and in what was sent down to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, and the Patriarchs; and in what was given to Moses and Jesus, and all the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction among any of them. To Him alone we are submitters.”

Islam Today;

They believe that Muhammad was the final messenger.

True Islam;

Muhammad might have been final prophet but he was not the final messenger.  There is difference between prophet and a messenger, all prophets were also messengers but not all messengers could also be prophets.  Prophets bring books, Moses brought Torah, Jesus brought Injeel (Gospal) and Muhammad brought the Quran.  A messenger does not bring a book but gives a message from the book revealed to the prophet before him.  Today the Messenger is Al-Muzzamil (The Cloaked one chapter 73 alias Ijaz Chaudry) last century it was Dr. Rashad Khalifa (3:81).

                Not The Final Messenger

[33:40]  Muhammad was not the father of any man among you. He was a messenger of GOD and the final prophet. GOD is fully aware of all things.

Islam Today;

Muslims believe Islam was formed by Muhammad but as already been told that he was just one of the prophet who brought the same message worship of God alone with some modifications as all other prophets.

True Islam;

Islam always existed we should believe that and should preach that.  By doing so, we bring other religions together rather than segregation.  Today Islam has many sects however religious sects are prohibited in Islam;

[6:159]  Those who divide themselves into sects do not belong with you. Their judgment rests with GOD, then He will inform them of everything they had done.

[30:32]  (Do not fall in idol worship,) like those who divide their religion into sects; each party rejoicing with what they have.

Islam unites all religions of the world under one umbrella called Islam meaning Submission in Arabic;

[5:69]  Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the converts, and the Christians; any of them who (1) believe in GOD and (2) believe in the Last Day, and (3) lead a righteous life, have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

Islam Today;

Islam constitution, many ideas has been thrown about each conflicting with another when Quran is very clear what it should be in one verse;

True Islam;

Muslims are asked to adopt the laws of the country in which they live, superseded by GOD’s laws wherever necessary.

[3:112]  Humiliation is their lot wherever they go, unless they abide by GOD’s covenant, and the people’s covenant (democracy)  They incurred wrath from God. Consequently, they were committed to disgrace.  This is because they rejected GOD’s revelations and used to kill the prophets unjustly.  This is because they disobeyed and transgressed.

Islam Today;

Allah is the name Muslims use for the supreme and unique God, who created and rules everything.

True Islam;

Allah is an Arabic word for God, Muslim’s are allowed to use other names for God within other languages, like Khudaa in Urdu, Dieu in French and God in English.  The Torah and the Gospels were revealed in Hebrew and they must have called God in their own language which implies that in different languages we use different words to describe God.  God is described in the Quran allegorically as the Light of the Heavens and Earth (24:35).  God, can hear us and we can communicate with Him through a messenger or by inspiration;

[42:51]  No human being can communicate with GOD except through inspiration, or from behind a barrier, or by sending a messenger through whom He reveals what He wills. He is the Most High, Most Wise.

We can make esoteric contact with God through Salat (This word means contact prayer).

Islam Today;

The literal meaning of Jihad is struggle or effort, and it means much more than holy war.

Muslims use the word Jihad to describe three different kinds of struggle:

A believer’s internal struggle to live out the Muslim faith as well as possible.

The struggle to build a good Muslim society

Holy war: the struggle to defend Islam…

True Islam;

Jihad is an Arabic word for; an all true and unselfish striving for spiritual good, this involves self-sacrifice to worship God Alone.  There is no definition in the Quran regarding what Jihad really means as described above in “Islam Today”.  The laws regarding war are simple, fight against aggressors, or those who stop you to practice your religion in peace.

Islam Today;

Hijaab

True Islam;

There is no requirement for Hijab or covering women bodies from head to toe in Islam.  This is fundamentally tradition passed on from 7th century.  When Muhammad came, he was given specific instructions for women dress sense, and it was dress modestly;

[24:30]  Tell the believing men that they shall subdue their eyes (and not stare at the women), and to maintain their chastity. This is purer for them. GOD is fully Cognizant of everything they do.

[24:31]  And tell the believing women to subdue their eyes, and maintain their chastity. They shall not reveal any parts of their bodies, except that which is necessary. They shall cover their chests, and shall not relax this code in the presence of other than their husbands, their fathers, the fathers of their husbands, their sons, the sons of their husbands, their brothers, the sons of their brothers, the sons of their sisters, other women, the male servants or employees whose sexual drive has been nullified, or the children who have not reached puberty. They shall not strike their feet when they walk in order to shake and reveal certain details of their bodies. All of you shall repent to GOD, O you believers, that you may succeed.*

[24:60] The elderly women who do not expect to get married commit nothing wrong by relaxing their dress code, provided they do not reveal too much of their bodies. To maintain modesty is better for them. GOD is Hearer, Knower.

[33:59]  O prophet, tell your wives, your daughters, and the wives of the believers that they shall lengthen their garments. Thus, they will be recognized (as righteous women) and avoid being insulted. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

Islam Today;

Sharia law comes from a combination of sources including the Qur’an. Sharia is a now a familiar term to Muslims and non-Muslims. It can often be heard in news stories about politics, crime, feminism, terrorism and civilization.

All aspects of a Muslim’s life are governed by Sharia. Sharia law comes from a combination of sources including the Quran (the Muslim holy book), the Hadith (sayings and conduct of the prophet Muhammad) and fatwas (the rulings of Islamic scholars).

True Islam;

Quran is clear that the only source for religious guidance should be the Quran alone (5:48 Quran the ultimate reference), any other source paramount to idolatry.  All power belongs to God.  The Shria shifts this power to few people who influence people’s lives based on draconian laws of 7th century. Listening and obeying Shria is a major sin, which hands over power to few men instead of God.  If one wants to make decisions in Islam, then he/she should read and follow the Quran at the same time abide the laws of the country in which he/she might live.  Hadith is forbidden in Islam (7:185, 12:111, 31:6 etc).

Islam Today;

Abraham is a very interesting figure because he is depicted in the Quran as somebody who, from a very early age, had problems trying to understand God and trying to discover God; being restless, knowing that perhaps the Pagan environment which he was in did not have the answers. That, ultimately, God was not the star or the sun or the wind or the moon – all these forces that he saw – God was in something else.

True Islam;

I believe above is false claim regarding Abraham “as somebody who, from a very early age, had problems trying to understand God…”  It is quite the contrary, Abraham from very early age had problem with understanding idol worship at his time.  However, after a token uncertainty he had full certainty in God as his God (6:75-79).

** A little note by the author; There are many aspects of today’s Islam which could be brought to attention in this article which contradict the true Islam as practiced by Abraham and Muhammad, however that is beyond the scope of this article, because this article is just a brief account of true Islam.  You will find lot of relevant information elsewhere in this web site about Islam.

Jainism & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Difference between Jainism and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Jainism;

Jainism is an ancient religion from India that teaches that the way to liberation and bliss is to live lives of harmlessness and renunciation. The essence of Jainism is concern for the welfare of every being in the universe and for the health of the universe itself.

Islam;

The above is a nice thought but the world does not always favour the harmless and the renouncing.  There will be time when one has to stand up for their rights.  Non aggression is a Muslim trait with exception to aggression.  It is allowed to defend oneself in the wake of aggression.   God has also provided us with provisions including the nice jobs we might have, which we should appreciate and enjoy.  Giving up all pleasures of life for the sake of religion is very stern.  Islam allows all good things which do not harm us to have and to enjoy and to be appreciative of God who has provided these entities.

Jainism;

Jains believe that animals and plants, as well as human beings, contain living souls. Each of these souls is considered of equal value and should be treated with respect and compassion

Islam;

Quran (the Final Testament) tells us only humans have souls;

[2:54]  Recall that Moses said to his people, “O my people, you have wronged your souls by worshiping the calf. You must repent to your Creator. You shall kill your egos. This is better for you in the sight of your Creator.” He did redeem you. He is the Redeemer, Most Merciful.

[2:72]  You had killed a soul, then disputed among yourselves. GOD was to expose what you tried to conceal.

[2:73]  We said, “Strike (the victim) with part (of the heifer).” That is when GOD brought the victim back to life, and showed you His signs, that you may understand.

Thus it is okay to kill animal to eat etc.

[27:20]  He inspected the birds, and noted: “Why do I not see the hoopoe? Why is he missing?

[27:21]  “I will punish him severely or sacrifice him, unless he gives me a good excuse.”

God has provided us with delicious meats which come from cattle and other hunted animals we should eat them and be appreciative of God for creating these for our sustenance.

[5:1]  O you who believe, you shall fulfil your covenants. Permitted for you to eat are the livestock, except those specifically prohibited herein. You shall not permit hunting throughout Hajj pilgrimage. GOD decrees whatever He wills.

Jainism;

Jains believe in reincarnation and seek to attain ultimate liberation – which means escaping the continuous cycle of birth, death and rebirth so that the immortal soul lives forever in a state of bliss. Liberation is achieved by eliminating all karma from the soul.

Islam;

Muslims do not believe in reincarnation, but they believe in resurrection from dead on the Day of Judgment.  This is our last chance on earth to redeem ourselves and denounce all idolatry and worship God Alone.  Whoever redeems itself will live happy life here on earth and when they die they will go straight to Paradise which is ultimate liberation of the souls.

Jainism;

Jainism is a religion of self-help. There are no gods or spiritual beings that will help human beings.

Islam;

Muslims believe in One God that sustains this universe and all the creatures therein.  There are several examples of this phenomenon, for example God sends down from the sky rain to water the crops at precise time when crop needs water and ripen the crops for us to eat, He subdues animals both for rides and for food, He helps grow beautiful flowers for us to enjoy etc.  There are so many blessings on us by God that we cannot encompass it.

[14:34]  And He gives you all kinds of things that you implore Him for. If you count GOD’s blessings, you can never encompass them. Indeed, the human being is transgressing, unappreciative.

[24:43]  Do you not realize that GOD drives the clouds, then gathers them together, then piles them on each other, then you see the rain coming out of them? He sends down from the sky loads of snow to cover whomever He wills, while diverting it from whomever He wills. The brightness of the snow almost blinds the eyes.

Jainism;

Jains are divided into two major sects; the Digambara (meaning “sky clad”) sect and the Svetambara (meaning “white clad”) sect.

Islam;

Islam forbids sects and unifies all religions under one umbrella called Submission or in Arabic it is called Islam;

[5:69]  Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the converts, and the Christians; any of them who (1) believe in GOD and (2) believe in the Last Day, and (3) lead a righteous life, have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

Jainism;

Jains do not believe in a God or gods in the way that many other religions do, but they do believe in divine (or at least perfect) beings who are worthy of devotion.  The Jain view of God enables Jainism to explain the evil and suffering that exists in the world without the intellectual difficulties faced by religions that have an omnipotent, wholly good, creator God at their heart. Where religions such as Christianity find the problem of evil one of their toughest tests, Jains use the existence of evil as a reason for denying the existence of an omnipotent, wholly good, Creator.

Islam;

Muslims totally believe in One God and devote their religion to Him alone.  Islam does not face any intellectual difficulties explaining the evils of this world.  Quran explains that each one of us made a decision before our Universe was created to what we wanted to be a believer or a non-believer.  This happened many years ago when we were all member of the High Society in Heaven and Satan challenged God’s Omnipotence, the beings who sided with him were humans and Devil.  Before Humans and Devils were exiled to Earth, Satan asked God to respite him and his community from punishment; God told him that He will until the Day of Judgment.  Hence the Satan and his community is to be blamed on what evil is on Earth.  The people who totally sided with Satan do bad things and die as disbelievers and people who did not side with him but were not sure, do good things and end up as believers or good doers.  However, there is another level to this, what good one does may not be enough to be a believer, because believers have to believe in God Alone as well.

Jainism;

If God created the world, where was he before creation? If you say he was transcendent then, and needed no support, where is he now?

Islam;

God always have been here.  The concept of time started after the Big Bang, this is scientifically proven fact.  And God is the One who initiated the Big Bang, thus as far as time is concerned He has always been here and since He initiated Big Bang He was there before time began.

[21:30]  Do the unbelievers not realize that the heaven and the earth used to be one solid mass that we exploded into existence? And from water we made all living things. Would they believe?

God is everywhere, you cannot see God, but you can see His manifestation everywhere.  The rain, the sun the moon running in its orbits, the boats sailing on the sea, the food which we eat all these are creation of God and reminds us of Him every minute of the Day or Night.  God is the one who has set the laws of science which holds together our Universe.  He is the One who gives life and takes life, these are all signs of God.

[3:190]  In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day, there are signs for those who possess intelligence.

[6:99]  He is the One who sends down from the sky water, whereby we produce all kinds of plants. We produce from the green material multitudes of complex grains, palm trees with hanging clusters, and gardens of grapes, olives and pomegranate; fruits that are similar, yet dissimilar. Note their fruits as they grow and ripen. These are signs for people who believe.

Jainism;

If God is ever perfect and complete, how could the will to create have arisen in him? If, on the other hand, he is not perfect, he could no more create the universe than a potter could.

Islam;

God is perfect and complete.  God did not create this Universe for play, this Universe and its inhabitant’s, have special purpose.  The purpose for us is to denounce idolatry and join God’s Kingdom, before it is too late.  This is our final chance to redeem ourselves.  As I mentioned earlier we use to live happy life before the Feud in Heavenly Society.  God had given us free will and we decided to side with Satan, when God is the One who had all the Power and we should have sided with Him.  Since God is Most Merciful He created Seven Universe and, Earth settled us here despite what we did we being unappreciative of Him, gave us another chance to redeem ourselves.  This is Selfless Act of God which does not cater for ego or bad motive, but to create for us this Universe in order for us to redeem our souls.

[44:38]  We did not create the heavens and the earth, and everything between them, just to play.

 [44:39]  We created them for a specific purpose, but most of them do not know.

                [44:40]  The Day of Decision awaits them all.

[44:41]  That is the day when no friend can help his friend in any way; no one can be helped.

 [44:42]  Only those who attain mercy from GOD. He is the Almighty, Most Merciful.

Jainism;

Jains do not believe that there is a god who must be obeyed

Islam;

All the laws of the universe are instituted by God which humans and all creation obey, this in itself recognizes the fact that there is God

Jainism;

No single being had the skill to make this world — For how can an immaterial god create that which is material?

Islam;

We do not fully encompass the power, of God we just know what we are told about Him in the scriptures.  Quran is clear in explaining the fact that the wicked did not witness the creation process.  Since we all sided with Satan to some extent we were left out from the knowledge of creation.

[18:51]  I never permitted them to witness the creation of the heavens and the earth, nor the creation of themselves. Nor do I permit the wicked to work in My kingdom.

Jainism;

Jains do not believe in any god who will respond to prayer or intervene in the world. The beings that Jains worship have no interest in human beings.

The beings that Jains worship are beyond human contact and they cannot intervene in the world.

Islam;

The worship seems useless if no benefit is observed from it, thus Jains worship seems pointless.  Muslim’s totally believe that God intervenes whenever necessary and supplication is another form of worship which also pays dividends.

[14:7]  Your Lord has decreed: “The more you thank Me, the more I give you.” But if you turn unappreciative, then My retribution is severe.

Jainism;

There is no God who demands worship

The perfect beings that Jains worship have no interest in human beings.

Any being that desired anything, would not be perfect and thus not a god.

Islam;

The worship Muslim’s take part in is for their own benefit, because this world is full of evil and we need to side with good rather than evil.  And the Ultimate Good is God.  If we worship God He protects us from evil gives us happiness and ultimately we end up in Paradise which indeed is a great reward.   God does not desire anything because He is capable of doing anything, He is compassionate towards believers.

[2:207]  Then there are those who dedicate their lives to serving GOD; GOD is compassionate towards such worshipers.

Jainism;

There is no God compared to whom each of us will always be inferior

Every soul has the potential to become perfect. All perfect souls are equal.

Islam;

Soul could be perfect but soul cannot create the universe or pour rain on the crop, for this purpose all souls are subservient to God

Jainism;

Universe;

Jains believe that the universe has always existed and will always exist. It is regulated by cosmic laws and kept going by its own energy processes. This concept of the universe is compatible with modern scientific thinking.

Islam;

Science believe that universe did not exist always, it was the Big Bang which initiated the universe and Quran acknowledges this fact.  Thus the statement is incorrect both based on science and religion;

                The Big Bang Theory Confirmed

[21:30]  Do the unbelievers not realize that the heaven and the earth used to be one solid mass that we exploded into existence? And from water we made all living things. Would they believe?

Jehovah’s Witnesses & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Common traits between Jehovah’s Witnesses and Islam;

Jehovah’s Witnesses;

Jehovah’s Witnesses base their beliefs only on the text of the Bible and ignore “mere human speculations or religious creeds.” They believe that the Bible is the Word of God and consider its 66 books to be divinely inspired and historically accurate

Islam;

Muslims also use scripture for their belief’s which include Torah, Gospel, Quran and any literature which expand on what these three books suggest. Islam also receive messengers who have extra information on top of what the books say. I am one of the messengers by the name of Al-Muzzammil in English it means The Cloaked. For years I hid my messenger ID hence I am the Cloaked one chapter 73 is also called Al-Muzzammil.

Following verse confirms what I said here;

[6:19]  Say, “Whose testimony is the greatest?” Say, “GOD’s. He is the witness between me and you that this Quran* has been inspired to me, to preach it to you and whomever it reaches. Indeed, you bear witness that there are other gods beside GOD.” Say, “I do not testify as you do; there is only one god, and I disown your idolatry.”

Jehovah’s Witnesses;

Witnesses do not celebrate Christmas or Easter because they believe that these festivals are based on (or massively contaminated by) pagan customs and religions.

Islam;

Muslims as well do not celebrate Christmas or Easter because we believe that these festivals are based on pagan customs and religions.  A true Muslim will not celebrate any man-made festival like Eid or birthday of propjet Muhammad.

 Jehovah’s Witnesses;

The church is strongly millennial and believes that humanity is now in the ‘last days’ and that the final battle between good and evil will happen soon.

Islam;

Muslim’s also believe that the Day of Judgement is near.  And it says in the Quran that the corruptors of earth which are forced behind a dam on earth at the moment will be let loose nearer the time when the End of the World is eminent, thus there will be war between good and evil and then finally End of the World will ensue. Following are some verses from the Quran talking about this subject;

                Gog and Magog*

[18:94]  They said, “O Zul-Qarnain, Gog and Magog are corruptors of the earth. Can we pay you to create a barrier between us and them?”

[18:95]  He said, “My Lord has given me great bounties. If you cooperate with me, I will build a dam between you and them.

[18:96]  “Bring to me masses of iron.” Once he filled the gap between the two palisades, he said, “Blow.” Once it was red hot, he said, “Help me pour tar on top of it.”

[18:97]  Thus, they could not climb it, nor could they bore holes in it.

[18:98]  He said, “This is mercy from my Lord. When the prophecy of my Lord comes to pass, He will cause the dam to crumble. The prophecy of my Lord is truth.”

[18:99]  At that time, we will let them invade with one another, then the horn will be blown, and we will summon them all together.

[18:100]  We will present Hell, on that day, to the disbelievers.

[18:101]  They are the ones whose eyes were too veiled to see My message. Nor could they hear.

 Jehovah’s Witnesses;

The traditional Christian idea that God is a ‘Trinity’ of Father, Son and Holy Spirit is false and based on pagan ideas. The doctrine of the Trinity is inconsistent with the Bible

The doctrine of the Trinity contradicts what the prophets, Jesus, the apostles, and the early Christians believed and taught

Islam;

Muslims also believe that Trinity is false which is inconsistent with the Quran (the Final Testament);

                 Trinity: A False Doctrine

[4:171]  O people of the scripture, do not transgress the limits of your religion, and do not say about GOD except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was a messenger of GOD, and His word that He had sent to Mary, and a revelation from Him. Therefore, you shall believe in GOD and His messengers. You shall not say, “Trinity.” You shall refrain from this for your own good. GOD is only one god. Be He glorified; He is much too glorious to have a son. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. GOD suffices as Lord and Master.

Muslims also believe that the previous scriptures have been altered by past generation for cheap material gains;

[2:79]  Therefore, woe to those who distort the scripture with their own hands, then say, “This is what GOD has revealed,” seeking a cheap material gain”. Woe to them for such distortion, and woe to them for their illicit gains.

Difference between Jehovah’s Witnesses and Islam, Islamic point of view;

 Jehovah’s Witnesses;

God the Father (whose name is Jehovah) is “the only true God”. Jesus Christ is his firstborn son, is inferior to God, and was created by God. The Holy Spirit is not a person; it is God’s active force

Islam;

In Islam Muslims believe in One God, one who is all Omnipotent and the creator of Heavens and Earth.  He was never begotten and He never begets.  God does not need any support or help while all other creatures do.  Jesus is one of many prophets who preached the same religion as Abraham did and Muhammad did called Islam or Submission.  It was later on when Christianity was created,  at the time the church was established in 325 CE when Nicene creed came about and trinity was established.  According to Quran the Holy Spirit is Angel Gabriel who accompanied Jesus and revealed him the Gospel, the same angel who revealed Muhammad the Quran.

[112:2]  “The Absolute GOD.

[112:3]  “Never did He beget. Nor was He begotten.

[112:4]  “None equals Him.”

[3:52]  When Jesus sensed their disbelief, he said, “Who are my supporters towards GOD?” The disciples said, “We are GOD’s supporters; we believe in GOD, and bear witness that we are (muslims) submitters.”

 Jehovah’s Witnesses;

Jesus was God’s first creation

Islam;

According to Islam God’s first creation was Adam, however, Quran acknowledges the fact that there are some similarities between creation of Jesus and Adam;

[3:59]  The example of Jesus, as far as GOD is concerned, is the same as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, “Be,” and he was.

**3:59 The “equality” of the creation of Jesus and Adam is confirmed mathematically; Jesus and Adam are mentioned in the Quran the same number of times, 25 times each.

Jehovah’s Witnesses;

Jehovah then created everything else through Jesus Christ

Islam;

Islam is not a religion which is based on any illusion.   All the scriptures including the Quran (The Final Testament) point towards the creation of us and the Universe was done by God.  There is no in between message there in this fact it is clear and precise;

[2:21]  O people, worship only your Lord – the One who created you and those before you – that you may be saved.

[2:29]  He is the One who created for you everything on earth, then turned to the sky and perfected seven universes therein,* and He is fully aware of all things.

*2:29 Our universe with its billion galaxies, spanning distances of billions of light years, is the smallest and innermost of seven universes. Please look up 41:10-11.

[6:1]  Praise be to GOD, who created the heavens and the earth, and made the darkness and the light. Yet, those who disbelieve in their Lord continue to deviate.

God created the Heavens and the Earth when Jesus was not even born.  As explained earlier God did not need anyone’s help in the creation process.  In fact no human or devil took part in any of the creation process;

[18:51]  I never permitted them to witness the creation of the heavens and the earth, nor the creation of themselves. Nor do I permit the wicked to work in My kingdom.*

*18:51 God knew that Satan and his supporters (jinns and humans) were going to make the wrong decision. Hence their exclusion from witnessing the creation process.

Thus Jesus was not aware of the creation process like no other human is!!

Jehovah’s Witnesses;

Jesus Christ gave his human life as a sacrifice to make human salvation possible

Islam;

Islam is very clear about this issue that no human can carry another human’s sins;

[35:18]  No soul can carry the sins of another soul. If a soul that is loaded with sins implores another to bear part of its load, no other soul can carry any part of it, even if they were related. The only people to heed your warnings are those who reverence their Lord, even when alone in their privacy, and observe the Contact Prayers (Salat). Whoever purifies his soul, does so for his own good. To GOD is the final destiny.

Thus according to Islam Jesus could not have carry other peoples sins!!

Jehovah’s Witnesses;

Witnesses believe that Jesus had a spirit resurrection, not a bodily one

Islam;

Muslims only believe in one resurrection and that is the Day of Resurrection when all the disbelievers will be resurrected from their graves to witness the final judgement, this is the day when this earth will come to an end.  According to Quran all humans die including Jesus who is dead.  However, there is difference between the believer dying and a disbeliever dying.  When the believer dies (including Jesus) they go straight to Paradise (the same Paradise where Adam and Eve was evicted from) and when the disbeliever dies his soul is trapped somewhere in the Universe and he/she is shown nightmares all the time until he/she is resurrected on the Day of Judgement.

                 Where Do We Go From Here?

[2:154]  Do not say of those who are killed in the cause of GOD, “They are dead.” They are alive at their Lord, but you do not perceive.*

*2:154 The righteous do not really die; they simply leave their bodies here and go to the same Paradise where Adam and Eve once lived.

[36:25]  “I have believed in your Lord; please listen to me.”

                The Righteous Go Straight to Paradise*

[36:26]  (At the time of his death) he was told, “Enter Paradise.” He said, “Oh, I wish my people knew.

*36:26 The righteous do not really die; they simply move on to the same Paradise where Adam and Eve lived. They join the prophets, saints and martyrs in an active and utopian life.

[36:27]  “That my Lord has forgiven me, and made me honorable.”

[36:28]  We did not send down upon his people, after him, soldiers from the sky; we did not need to send them down.

Day of Resurrection as regards to Jews & Christians

[2:113]  The Jews said, “The Christians have no basis,” while the Christians said, “The Jews have no basis.” Yet, both of them read the scripture. Such are the utterances of those who possess no knowledge. GOD will judge them on the Day of Resurrection, regarding their disputes.

Jehovah’s Witnesses;

Jesus Christ has been appointed by God to judge each human being and decide on their fate.

Islam;

Quran is clear that there is no such thing as Intercession on behalf of God.  Today’s Muslims believe that Muhammad will judge among the people on the Day of Resurrection and Christians it will be Jesus.  According to Quran both are wrong, because no intercession is allowed;

[2:48]  Beware of the day when no soul can avail another soul, no intercession will be accepted, no ransom can be paid, nor can anyone be helped.

Muhammad was told even if he asks for forgiveness for the disbelievers for seventy times God will not forgive them (Muhammad had relatives who were disbelievers), if Muhammad cannot help who he knew, what chance has he got to help total strangers on the Day of Judgement.  This phenomenon of intercession is completely wrong.

                 Satan’s Most Effective Bait:

                 The Myth of Intercession*

[9:80]  Whether you ask forgiveness for them, or do not ask forgiveness for them – even if you ask forgiveness for them seventy times – GOD will not forgive them. This is because they disbelieve in GOD and His messenger. GOD does not guide the wicked people.

*9:80 If Muhammad could not intercede on behalf of his own uncles and cousins, what makes strangers who never met him think that he will intercede on their behalf? Abraham could not intercede on behalf of his father, nor could Noah intercede on behalf of his son (11:46 & 60:4).

Jehovah’s Witnesses;

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that when a person dies, their existence completely stops.

Islam;

Muslims believe that after person dies his soul remains intact as far as believers are concerned.   And the Soul the real person goes to Paradise.  However, when a disbeliever dies his/her soul dies with him/her.   Soul is the real me or you, this fact is witnessed by our being and is embedded within our language for example when we say our body, or my hand when referring to body or hand, this implies that these extremities are not part of what we originally are a soul.  The word “our” or “my” implies possessions rather than an entity like a soul.

Jehovah’s Witnesses;

Witnesses believe that Hell (as traditionally portrayed) does not exist. There is no place where sinners are tormented after death – since their existence is over, nothing can be done to them or for them. Witnesses also argue that it would be completely against God’s nature to torture humans for eternity.

Islam;

Muslims believe that those who are worthy of reward because they lived a righteous life be humble to people and did not set up any idols beside our Creator will receive their reward, they will end up in Paradise immediately after they die on earth.  And those who lived their lives at the impulse of their egos destroying, properties corrupting the world and setting up idols besides God deserve to get their punishment.  If the reward for the righteous and punishment for corruptors was not there then there is no justice, and it is not worth living your life the way you do.   Reminder of reward and punishment works positively for us.  Punishment deters corruptors and reward encourages the righteous thus this method makes more sense.  Quran clarifies to us that Hell will be created on the Day of Judgment when this earth will come to end, while Paradise is already there the Paradise which Adam and Eve were evicted from, the same Paradise where Jesus lives in now.  If you are righteous, you will join Jesus and other God’s prophets there.

Jehovah’s Witnesses;

The majority of Jehovah’s Witnesses are not anointed and will not spend eternity in heaven. They will spend eternity in paradise on Earth.  In fact not only Jehovah’s Witnesses but billions of others will have everlasting life on earth and thus fulfil God’s original plan for humanity when he put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden

Islam;

There are two points which do not make sense if all the people from all the generations on earth will live on earth then there will be no space left for other creatures, like plants and animals (population explosion).  And the other point is if no one is punished for their sins then that means that anyone can sin on earth and do vile things on earth and still end up living good life, that does not make sense.  The space in Paradise as compared to earth is infinitely more;

 [3:133]  You should eagerly race towards forgiveness from your Lord and a Paradise whose width encompasses the heavens and the earth; it awaits the righteous.

*CE stands for “Common era” which equals AD, but AD stands for “Anno Domini” which is Latin for “The year of the Lord”, since Muslims do not believe Jesus was God, it is appropriate to use CE.

Judaism & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Common traits between Judaism and Islam;

Judaism;

God exists

Islam;

[2:255]  GOD: there is no other god besides Him, the Living, the Eternal. Never a moment of unawareness or slumber overtakes Him. To Him belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth. Who could intercede with Him, except in accordance with His will? He knows their past, and their future. No one attains any knowledge, except as He wills. His dominion encompasses the heavens and the earth, and ruling them never burdens Him. He is the Most High, the Great.

Judaism;

There is only one God

Islam;

[2:255] – ditto-

Judaism;

There are no other gods

Islam;

[2:255] – ditto –

Judaism;

God can’t be subdivided into different persons (unlike the Christians view of God)

Islam;

Islam agrees with this statement, and says three cannot be one, nor one can be three this is common sense;

Judaism;

Jews should worship only the one God

Islam;

Muslims only worship one God and they emphasizes that all humans should do the same for their own benefit;

[2:139]  Say, “Do you argue with us about GOD, when He is our Lord and your Lord? We are responsible for our deeds, and you are responsible for your deeds. To Him alone we are devoted.”

[68:52]  It is in fact a message to the world.

Judaism;

God doesn’t have a body, which means that God is neither female nor male.

Islam;

Allegorical description of God in the Quran,

[24:35]  GOD is the light of the heavens and the earth. The allegory of His light is that of a concave mirror behind a lamp that is placed inside a glass container. The glass container is like a bright, pearl-like star. The fuel thereof is supplied from a blessed oil-producing tree, that is neither eastern, nor western. Its oil is almost self-radiating; needs no fire to ignite it. Light upon light. GOD guides to His light whoever wills (to be guided). GOD thus cites the parables for the people. GOD is fully aware of all things.

Arabic is a language which has a non-gender pronoun to describe God neither male nor female and the Quran was revealed in Arabic to Muhammad… So this means it include gender neutral folk as well, this is Mercy of God Who loves His children…

Judaism;

God is omnipresent: God is everywhere, all the time.

Islam;

[2:115]  To GOD belongs the east and the west; wherever you go there will be the presence of GOD. GOD is Omnipresent, Omniscient.

Judaism;

God is omnipotent: God can do anything at all.

Islam;

[2:148]  Each of you chooses the direction to follow; you shall race towards righteousness. Wherever you may be, GOD will summon you all. GOD is Omnipotent.

Difference between Judaism and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Judaism;

Judaism was founded by Moses, although Jews trace their history back to Abraham.

Islam;

Quran is clear that Moses was a Submitter which in Arabic is Muslim;

To Him alone we are submitters (Muslims).”

He was a Hebrew, a Prophet and a Messenger.  All Messengers in the Quran came with the same message Submission to God Alone which in Arabic is called Islam.

[21:24]  Have they found other gods beside Him? Say, “Show me your proof. This is the message to my generation, consummating all previous messages.” Indeed, most of them do not recognize the truth; this is why they are so hostile.

[39:22]  If GOD renders one’s heart content with Submission (Islam), he will be following a light from his Lord. Therefore, woe to those whose hearts are hardened against GOD’s message; they have gone far astray.

Judaism would have been created later after Moses passed away, similar to Christianity which was created later after Jesus died.  However, the Merciful God recognizes both religions by name…

                 All Believers Are Redeemed,

                 Regardless of the Name of Their Religion

[2:111]  Some have said, “No one will enter Paradise except Jews or Christians!” Such is their wishful thinking. Say, “Show us your proof, if you are right.”

Judaism;

Jews believe that there is only one God with whom they have a covenant

The covenant between God and Jews is the basis for the idea of the Jews as the chosen people. The first covenant was between God and Abraham.

Islam;

Muslims also believe in One God.  According to the Quran (The Final Testament) the covenant was made between God and The Children of Israel.  As I said earlier there were no Jews at the time of Moses but The Children of Israel.  Children of Israel are family of Israel (Jacob) who was direct descendent of Abraham his grandson.  There is a clear distinction between Jews and The Children of Israel.  Jew is a religion, and The Children of Israel is a family.  According to the Quran The Children of Israel include Arabs, The Children of Israel can be bound to any religion.  The covenant was made between The Children of Israel and God, not between Jews and God.  After the covenant most disbelieved.

                 Israel Rebels

[2:61]  Recall that you said, “O Moses, we can no longer tolerate one kind of food. Call upon your Lord to produce for us such earthly crops as beans, cucumbers, garlic, lentils, and onions.” He said, “Do you wish to substitute that which is inferior for that which is good? Go down to Egypt, where you can find what you asked for.” They have incurred condemnation, humiliation, and disgrace, and brought upon themselves wrath from GOD. This is because they rejected GOD’s revelations, and killed the prophets unjustly. This is because they disobeyed and transgressed.

                Covenant with Israel

[2:63]  We made a covenant with you, as we raised Mount Sinai above you: “You shall uphold what we have given you strongly, and remember its contents, that you may be saved.”

[2:64]  But you turned away thereafter, and if it were not for GOD’s grace towards you and His mercy, you would have been doomed.

                The Commandments

[2:83]  We made a covenant with the Children of Israel: “You shall not worship except GOD. You shall honour your parents and regard the relatives, the orphans, and the poor. You shall treat the people amicably. You shall observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat).” But you turned away, except a few of you, and you became averse.

[2:84]  We made a covenant with you, that you shall not shed your blood, nor shall you evict each other from your homes. You agreed and bore witness.

                Abraham

[2:124]  Recall that Abraham was put to the test by his Lord, through certain commands, and he fulfilled them. (God) said, “I am appointing you an imam for the people.” He said, “And also my descendants?” He said, “My covenant does not include the transgressors.”

Judaism;

Judaism has a rich history of religious text, but the central and most important religious document is the Torah. Jewish traditional or oral law, the interpretation of the laws of the Torah, is called halakhah.

Islam;

The true Muslims only follow Quran the word of God.  Today’s Muslims follow other sources besides Quran.  When you read Quran it is clear that it is emphasized in the Quran that the only source for the religious guidance should be the Quran.  Quran specifically names other sources and forbids us from following these;

[7:185]  Have they not looked at the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all the things GOD has created? Does it ever occur to them that the end of their life may be near? Which Hadith, beside this, do they believe in?

Similarly when the Torah was revealed to Moses that was the only source for Moses and his follower’s of their religion.  However now halakah is used as well which shows that Jewish religion is not pure anymore.

Judaism;

Jews believe that God appointed the Jews to be his chosen people in order to set an example of holiness and ethical behaviour to the world.

Islam;

According to Islam the chosen people were the Children of Israel who are not necessarily Jews.  But God reserves right to choose people as He wishes.  In fact God has warned that He will replace the bad with good people, and indeed in 21st century he has appointed a messenger from other than Children of Israel;

[6:84]  And we granted him Isaac and Jacob, and we guided both of them. Similarly, we guided Noah before that, and from his descendants (we guided) David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses, and Aaron. We thus reward the righteous.

[6:85]  Also, Zachariah, John, Jesus, and Elias; all were righteous.

[6:86]  And Ismail, Elisha, Jonah, and Lot; each of these we distinguished over all the people.

[6:87]  From among their ancestors, their descendants, and their siblings, we chose many, and we guided them in a straight path.

[6:88]  Such is GOD’s guidance, with which He guides whomever He chooses from among His servants. Had any of them fallen into idolatry, their works would have been nullified.

[6:89]  Those were the ones to whom we have given the scripture, wisdom, and prophet hood. If these people disbelieve, we will substitute others in their place, and the new people will not be disbelievers.

Judaism;

Jews believe that a Jew is someone who is the child of a Jewish mother; although some groups also accept children of Jewish fathers as Jewish. A Jew traditionally can’t lose the technical ‘status’ of being a Jew by adopting another faith, but they do lose the religious element of their Jewish identity. Someone who isn’t born a Jew can convert to Judaism, but it is not easy to do so.

Islam;

Islam is a religion which has no correlation with the family.  If someone is born Muslim because his/her mother or father was a Muslim, he/she does not automatically become Muslim.  Instead Islam is a belief system and the following verse states what need to take place for someone to become a Muslim and it is simple to convert to Islam;

                Minimum Requirements For Salvation

[5:69]  Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the converts, and the Christians; any of them who (1) believe in GOD and (2) believe in the Last Day, and (3) lead a righteous life, have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

After accepting and believing in (5:69)one can increase his/her beliefs by following the Quran if he/she wishes.

Judaism;

Before Judaism, people believed in lots of gods, and those gods behaved no better than human beings with supernatural powers.

Islam;

Islam is the oldest religion in the world.  The first believer was Adam.  In those days belief in God was sufficient to be a Muslim.  However the Islam as we see today with its 5 religious practices was born much later on.  Abraham was founder of today’s Islam with God’s leave.  Each time God send a prophet and a messenger, first very few people believed, second those who believed started to idolize the prophet who God send instead of God.  Thus it is not only when Moses came that people had many gods, this has been happening throughout the world since the world began.  The prophets were sent with the same message worship God alone.  Following are three verses which validate that creating god beside God is a wide spread and natural habit of humans which occurred in the past and still happens now;

                Believers  Or  Hypocrites?

[4:60]  Have you noted those who claim that they believe in what was revealed to you, and in what was revealed before you, then uphold the unjust laws of their idols? They were commanded to reject such laws. Indeed, it is the devil’s wish to lead them far astray.

[5:116]  GOD will say, “O Jesus, son of Mary,* did you say to the people, `Make me and my mother idols beside GOD?’ ” He will say, “Be You glorified. I could not utter what was not right. Had I said it, You already would have known it. You know my thoughts, and I do not know Your thoughts. You know all the secrets.

*5:116 It is noteworthy that the Quran consistently calls Jesus “son of Mary” and the Bible calls him “son of man”. God knew that some will blaspheme and call him “son of God”!

[5:117]  “I told them only what You commanded me to say, that: `You shall worship GOD, my Lord and your Lord.’ I was a witness among them for as long as I lived with them. When You terminated my life on earth, You became the Watcher over them. You witness all things.

[5:118]  “If You punish them, they are Your constituents. If You forgive them, You are the Almighty, Most Wise.”

Judaism;

Jews believe that David and Solomon two righteous prophets transgressed later in their lives and died as disbelievers.

Islam;

Quran the Holy Book of Muslims confirms that this is not true and that all prophets including David and Solomon died as believers; this fact is mathematically coded in the Quran. By using the Prime number 19 and dividing the code we confirm this fact. Verse (2:133) describes Jacob as a believer at his death bed thus the key aspect of this verse in this code is “believer” and “death”. Verses (4:163-165) names all the prophets including David and Solomon; after adding 163 + 164 + 165 = 492 and concatenating the chapters and verses we get complete multiple of 19; 2 133 4 492 = 1122868 x 19. This code has a temporal connection which is it starts with the earliest to the oldest. Jacob in (2:133) came before David and Solomon in (4:163) therefore (2:133) comes first in the code and (4:163-165) appears later.

[2:133] Had you witnessed Jacob on his death bed; he said to his children, “What will you worship after I die?” They said, “We will worship your god; the god of your fathers Abraham, Ismail, and Isaac; the one god. To Him we are submitters.”

[4:163] We have inspired you, as we inspired Noah and the prophets after him. And we inspired Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, the Patriarchs, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon. And we gave David the Psalms.

[4:164] Messengers we have told you about, and messengers we never told you about. And GOD spoke to Moses directly.

[4:165]  Messengers to deliver good news, as well as warnings. Thus, the people will have no excuse when they face GOD, after all these messengers have come to them. GOD is Almighty, Most Wise.

Mormonism & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Common traits between Mormonism and Islam;

Mormons;

They oppose abortion

Islam;

Islam also opposes abortion generally but allows abortion under special circumstances.  In Islam life is given when the fetus is formed.  And it is only forbidden to take life unjustly, thus at an embryo stage abortion is allowed but not after the fetus is formed.  This takes care of matters such as the pill or a rape when woman does not want baby;

Mormons;

 They oppose homosexuality

Islam;

Islam allows homosexuality under special circumstances governed by these two verses;

26:165-166

“Do you have sex with the males, of all the people?

“You forsake the wives that your Lord has created for you! Indeed, you are transgressing people.”

If you are married and have affair with another man or a women then it becomes breach of the marriage oath and is wrong, else it is ok.

Mormons;

 They oppose unmarried sexual acts

Islam;

In Islam one is allowed sex with whom one is committed for life;

[23:6]  Only with their spouses, or those who are rightfully theirs, do they have sexual relations; they are not to be blamed.

 Quran also acknowledges marriages and puts burden of dowry on groom rather than bride.  The traditionalists have distorted this and ask dowry from brides parents.  This is wrong and unfair, most likely bride does not work and her parents gets the burden of paying the dowry.  In third world countries due to these constraints when poor families have girls born it is a misery rather than delight. In some extreme cases they bury their new born to get rid of expenses which do ensue later on.  An example of payment of dowries by men is in the following verse;

[33:50]

O prophet, we made lawful for you your wives to whom you have paid their due dowry, or what you already have, as granted to you by GOD. Also lawful for you in marriage are the daughters of your father’s brothers, the daughters of your father’s sisters, the daughters of your mother’s brothers, the daughters of your mother’s sisters, who have emigrated with you. Also, if a believing woman gave herself to the prophet – by forfeiting the dowry – the prophet may marry her without a dowry, if he so wishes. However, her forfeiting of the dowry applies only to the prophet, and not to the other believers. We have already decreed their rights in regard to their spouses or what they already have. This is to spare you any embarrassment. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

Mormons;

 They oppose gambling.

Islam;

Islam also oppose gambling and alcohol;

     Intoxicants and Gambling Prohibited

[5:90]  O you who believe, intoxicants, and gambling, and the altars of idols, and the games of chance are abominations of the devil; you shall avoid them, that you may succeed.

[5:91]  The devil wants to provoke animosity and hatred among you through intoxicants and gambling, and to distract you from remembering GOD, and from observing the Contact Prayers (Salat). Will you then refrain?

[2:219]

They ask you about intoxicants and gambling: say, “In them there is a gross sin, and some benefits for the people. But their sinfulness far outweighs their benefit.” They also ask you what to give to charity: say, “The excess.” GOD thus clarifies the revelations for you, that you may reflect,

Gambling and game of chance can allow animosity in the Society how? It does that by winning and losing those who loose can be intolerant to those who won by being unfair. However, these days we have national lottery used for many benefits for the destitute. Similarly, alcohol and drugs like weed can be used to help reduce the pain and other ailments.

Mormons;

We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam’s Transgressions.

Islam;

Islam agrees with this every man is individually judged;

[39:69]  Then the earth will shine with the light of its Lord. The record will be proclaimed, and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought forth. Everyone will then be judged equitably, without the least injustice.

 Difference between Mormonism and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Mormons;

Mormons believe that God has a physical body, is married, and can have children.

Islam;

In Islam, God is thought to be light of Heavens & Earth and is allegorically described in the Quran as follows;

     God

[24:35]  GOD is the light of the heavens and the earth. The allegory of His light is that of a concave mirror behind a lamp that is placed inside a glass container. The glass container is like a bright, pearl-like star. The fuel thereof is supplied from a blessed oil-producing tree, that is neither eastern, nor western. Its oil is almost self-radiating; needs no fire to ignite it. Light upon light. GOD guides to His light whoever wills (to be guided). GOD thus cites the parables for the people. GOD is fully aware of all things.

God is alone, is not married or has any children because of the following verses;

[112:2]  “The Absolute GOD.

[112:3]  “Never did He beget. Nor was He begotten.

Mormons;

They also believe that humans can become gods in the afterlife

Islam;

No human can become god in their lives or after they die.  God is the only god for now and forever;

Mormons;

We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.

Islam;

The above mentioned statement is very similar to Trinity.  Islam says no to Trinity.  God was not begotten nor did He beget.  The Holy Ghost or Spirit is in fact angel Gabriel, who accompanied all messengers, because he brings revelations from God.  He was present when Jesus was alive and when Muhammad received the Quran and he brings new revelations all the time to me, which, are documented in this website each revelation is then confirmed through  mathematical proofs (19 the miracle of the Quran).

[112:2]  “The Absolute GOD.

[112:3]  “Never did He beget. Nor was He begotten.

Mormons;

We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly

Islam;

Quran confirms Gospel and supersedes it.  However, Gospel as we see it today is not the same Gospel which Jesus was preaching.  There are many arguments which conclude this.  For example the Bible today is a historic account of Jesus rather than what Jesus said.  And it is what Jesus said is important and not what might be historic opinion about Jesus.  Now we know for a fact from Egyptian Scrolls that there were other books which were actually written by Apostles of Jesus such as Thomas which were not included in the Canon.  Thomas’s book consists of what Jesus said.  However, today’s translators have once again interpreted this book in the light of Canon.  This is entirely wrong because these were the same people who ignored Thomas’s writings in the first place.  Apart from this there is obvious historic account which suggest that Gospels were written 70 years after Jesus death by people who never met him based on the letters by St Paul who was greatest opponent of Jesus when Jesus was alive.  Question is for logical and intelligent person how can this Gospel be the same Gospel what Jesus preached?  Thus the Gospel, Quran confirms is the Gospel revealed to Jesus.  Since that is not available the Quran is guide for those who seek salvation.

[3:3]  He sent down to you this scripture, truthfully, confirming all previous scriptures, and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel

[5:48]  Then we revealed to you this scripture, truthfully, confirming previous scriptures, and superseding them. You shall rule among them in accordance with GOD’s revelations, and do not follow their wishes if they differ from the truth that came to you. For each of you, we have decreed laws and different rites. Had GOD willed, He could have made you one congregation. But He thus puts you to the test through the revelations He has given each of you. You shall compete in righteousness. To GOD is your final destiny – all of you – then He will inform you of everything you had disputed.

Mormons;

Mormons believe in living prophets – human beings who are prophets of God in the same way as Abraham, Moses, Isaiah, and the Apostles

Islam;

Muslims believe in the historical prophets only since Muhammad was the final prophet. Quran defines the prophet to be a person who brings a scripture Quran for example the following verse confirms what has been described here,

                  Not The Final Messenger

[33:40]  Muhammad was not the father of any man among you. He was a messenger of GOD and the final prophet. GOD is fully aware of all things.

Quran also explains that messenger is believer who gives message from the books received by the prophets.  All prophets are also messengers while not all messengers are prophets.  Two such messengers I know of who came to this world in 21st and 22nd century.  The first one was called Dr. Rashad Khalifa and second is me called Al-Muzzamil (The Cloaked one)in the Quran.  The following verse prophesise the advent of Dr. Rashad Khalifa and also describes the difference between prophet and a messenger, because we know from (33:40) that Muhammad was the last prophet, hence this was a messenger after him;

                Major Prophecy Fulfilled

                God’s Messenger of the Covenant

[3:81]  GOD took a covenant from the prophets, saying, “I will give you the scripture and wisdom. Afterwards, a messenger will come to confirm all existing scriptures. You shall believe in him and support him.” He said, “Do you agree with this, and pledge to fulfil this covenant?” They said, “We agree.” He said, “You have thus borne witness, and I bear witness along with you.”

Both Rashad and I has brought lot of new information from the Quran, which today’s Muslims did not know about.  But from both of us the most important message to the world is to devote our lives to God Alone. And this has been the same message from all messengers and prophets throughout the history of mankind;

[4:146]  Only those who repent, reform, hold fast to GOD, and devote their religion absolutely to GOD alone, will be counted with the believers. GOD will bless the believers with a great recompense.

 However, this message has been distorted by the disbelievers and these prophets themselves have been converted into god’s by their followers;

[3:79]  Never would a human being whom GOD blessed with the scripture and prophet hood say to the people, “Idolize me beside GOD.” Instead, (he would say), “Devote yourselves absolutely to your Lord alone,” according to the scripture you preach and the teachings you learn.

Paganism & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Introduction;

I have left this article very short for a reason.  The reason is this, Islam and Paganism has fundamental differences which have been highlighted within this short article.  If one can grasp these fundamental differences between the two religions than one need not venture further because rest becomes irrelevant.

Difference between Paganism and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Paganism;

The recognition of the divine in nature is at the heart of Pagan belief. Pagans are deeply aware of the natural world and see the power of the divine in the ongoing cycle of life and death. Most Pagans are eco-friendly, seeking to live in a way that minimises harm to the natural environment.

Islam;

Muslims believe in living in harmony with nature;

[25:63]  The worshipers of the Most Gracious are those who tread the earth gently, and when the ignorant speak to them, they only utter peace.

However, Muslims do not believe that the nature is the source of divinity itself.  Muslims believe that God created the Heavens and the Earth, God also initiated the creation and perpetuated the life cycles.  Thus we can enjoy the beauty  and benefits of the nature but should Praise God for its creation and no one else;

[40:79]  GOD is the One who created the livestock for you; some you ride, and some you eat.

Paganism;

Pagans worship the divine in many different forms, through feminine as well as masculine imagery and also as without gender. The most important and widely recognised of these are the God and Goddess (or pantheons of God and Goddesses) whose annual cycle of procreation, giving birth and dying defines the Pagan year. Paganism strongly emphasises equality of the sexes. Women play a prominent role in the modern Pagan movement, and Goddess worship features in most Pagan ceremonies

Islam;

Setting up of any other god beside the Creator is the utmost sin in Islam.  The reason for this is that God created the Heavens and the Earth, God created us and all the creation to sustain us, God provides for us and for all the creation (even though some of the creation can’t even carry its provisions like insects) and to God ultimately we will go who will judge us.  Now if we thank someone else for all this than it is not fair at all.  Therefore idolising besides God is the most, worst sin in Islam.  God can forgive lesser sins for whomever He wants but will not forgive idol worship if maintained till death.  One can repent and believe in God anytime, before death approaches!

[2:22]  The One who made the earth habitable for you, and the sky a structure. He sends down from the sky water, to produce all kinds of fruits for your sustenance. You shall not set up idols to rival GOD, now that you know.

The Unforgivable Sin

[4:116]  GOD does not forgive idol worship (if maintained until death),* and He forgives lesser offenses for whomever He wills. Anyone who idolizes any idol beside GOD has strayed far astray.

*4:116 A simple definition of no idolatry: Believing that all help to us ultimately is initiated by God.

Rastafarian & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Difference between Rastafarian and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Rastafarian;

Rastafarians believe Haile Selassie is God and that he will return to Africa to help members of the black community who are living in exile as the result of colonisation and the slave trade.

Islam;

Islam says that there is no god besides God (the Creator of Heavens and Earth).  Islam also says that no human can be God.  This fact is explained by the example of Jesus being son of Mary rather than the son of God.  God is the all powerful who created the Heavens and the Earth, no human can do that!!

[28:70]  He is the one GOD; there is no other god beside Him. To Him belongs all praise in this first life, and in the Hereafter. All judgment belongs with Him, and to Him you will be returned.

Rastafarian;

Rastafarian theology developed from the ideas of Marcus Garvey, a political activist who wanted to improve the status of fellow blacks.

Islam;

Islam is free from prejudice against, colour, race or creed, anyone regardless of his/her religion can be a Muslim (Submitter).  God promises the believers victory and happiness in this world and greater reward in the Hereafter;

[5:69]  Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the converts, and the Christians; any of them who (1) believe in GOD and (2) believe in the Last Day, and (3) lead a righteous life, have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

Happiness: Now and Forever*

[10:62]  Absolutely, GOD’s allies have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

*10:62-64 Most people think that they have to wait until the Day of Resurrection before they receive their rewards for righteousness, or the retribution for wickedness. But the Quran repeatedly assures the believers that they are guaranteed perfect happiness here in this world, now and forever. At the end of their interim here, they go directly to Paradise.

[10:63]  They are those who believe and lead a righteous life.

[10:64]  For them, joy and happiness in this world, as well as in the Hereafter. This is GOD’s unchangeable law. Such is the greatest triumph.

Rastafarian;

The movement’s greatest concerns are the repatriation of blacks to their homeland, Africa, and the reinstatement of blacks’ position in society

Islam;

The indigenous population of Africa has suffered a lot in the past.  Islam recognizes this fact, when the Quran was revealed Slavery was a norm.  However, Islam introduced freeing the salves, halving their punishments, to relieve some pressure from the salves;

[4:25]  Those among you who cannot afford to marry free believing women, may marry believing slave women. GOD knows best about your belief, and you are equal to one another, as far as belief is concerned. You shall obtain permission from their guardians before you marry them, and pay them their due dowry equitably. They shall maintain moral behaviour, by not committing adultery, or having secret lovers. Once they are freed through marriage, if they commit adultery, their punishment shall be half of that for the free women.* Marrying a slave shall be a last resort for those unable to wait. To be patient is better for you. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

*4:25 This law proves that the punishment for adultery could not possibly be stoning to death as stated in the laws of corrupted Muslims (see 24:2).

[9:60]  Charities shall go to the poor, the needy, the workers who collect them, the new converts, to free the slaves, to those burdened by sudden expenses, in the cause of GOD, and to the traveling alien. Such is GOD’s commandment. GOD is Omniscient, Most Wise.

[90:12]  Which one is the difficult path?

[90:13]  The freeing of slaves.

[90:14]  Feeding, during the time of hardship.

Rastafarian;

God is found within every man

Rastafarians believe that God makes himself known through humanity. According to Jagessar “there must be one man in whom he exists most eminently and completely, and that is the supreme man, Rastafari, Selassie I.”

Islam;

The manifestation of divinity of God is apparent in all things.  The rain that falls on the crops when they need it, the sun that shines to ripen the fruits and crops, the various fruits that we eat, it comes from the same earth with different tastes and shapes, also God inspires the humans to fly make luxurious means of transport, He also inspired humans to lay roads and to sail on the sea.  All these and many more are signs of God for the believers to observe and be appreciative of God.  If a human want to count God’s blessings he/she will not be able to fathom them  no matter how long or how hard he/she tries;

[2:22]  The One who made the earth habitable for you, and the sky a structure. He sends down from the sky water, to produce all kinds of fruits for your sustenance. You shall not set up idols to rival GOD, now that you know.

     Greatness of God*

[39:67]  They can never fathom the greatness of GOD. The whole earth is within His fist on the Day of Resurrection. In fact, the universes are folded within His right hand.* Be He glorified; He is much too high above needing any partners.

*39:67 Our universe, with its billion galaxies, a billion trillion stars, uncountable decillions of heavenly bodies, spanning many billions of light-years, is the smallest and innermost of seven universes. This incomprehensible vastness of the seven universes is within God’s hand. Such is the greatness of God.

Rastafarian;

Respect for nature

This idea refers to the importance and respect Rastafarians have for animals and the environment, as mirrored in their food laws.

Islam;

Islam also recognise the importance of being kind to nature, thus we are asked to tread the earth gently;

[25:63]  The worshipers of the Most Gracious are those who tread the earth gently, and when the ignorant speak to them, they only utter peace.

All nice foods are allowed in Islam, except the following;

[2:173]  He only prohibits for you the eating of animals that die of themselves (without human interference), blood, the meat of pigs, and animals dedicated to other than GOD. If one is forced (to eat these), without being malicious or deliberate, he incurs no sin. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

     Intoxicants and Gambling Prohibited

[5:90]  O you who believe, intoxicants, and gambling, and the altars of idols, and the games of chance are abominations of the devil; you shall avoid them, that you may succeed.

Rastafarian;

Judgment is near

This corresponds to the nearness of judgement for Rastafarians when they will be given greater recognition.

Islam;

The only Judgment Muslims recognize is the Day of the Judgment, when this earth will come to end and everyone will be judged by God and make it Heaven or Hell based on the righteous and unrighteous work they may have done on earth respectively.  This earth will be replaced by Hell, and all the disbelievers will burn here;

     Guaranteed Happiness

     Now and Forever

[16:97]  Anyone who works righteousness, male or female, while believing, we will surely grant them a happy life in this world, and we will surely pay them their full recompense (on the Day of Judgment) for their righteous works.

Rastafarian;

Women must also abstain from abortion which is regarded as murder

Islam;

Selective abortion is allowed in Islam.  Taking life in Islam is a big sin.  God explains in the Quran the Final Testament that God gives life to foetus  or deem it lifeless.  Thus abortion at an earlier stage where the baby is an embryo, abortion is permissible.  This law works well with the modern society, for example the pill works this way.  Also in certain circumstances where a woman has been raped and would like an abortion this is a useful law;

[22:5]  O people, if you have any doubt about resurrection, (remember that) we created you from dust, and subsequently from a tiny drop, which turns into a hanging (embryo), then it becomes a fetus that is given life or deemed lifeless. We thus clarify things for you. We settle in the wombs whatever we will for a predetermined period.* We then bring you out as infants, then you reach maturity. While some of you die young, others live to the worst age, only to find out that no more knowledge can be attained beyond a certain limit. Also, you look at a land that is dead, then as soon as we shower it with water, it vibrates with life and grows all kinds of beautiful plants.

Taoism & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Difference between Taoism and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Taoism;

Taoism is about the Tao. This is usually translated as the Way. But it’s hard to say exactly what this means. The Tao is the ultimate creative principle of the universe. All things are unified and connected in the Tao.  All things in the world come from being. And being comes from non-being. (form comes from formlessness)?

Islam;

The Tao is half a story the creative principle explains the repeating of the creations, like humans as we see it reproducing more humans (this repeat of what already is there a male and female human).  But Tao does not talk about the initiation process where for example the first human (Adam) came from.  Quran tells us that God creates and repeats;

[30:11]  GOD is the One who initiates the creation and repeats it. Ultimately, you will be returned to Him.

[30:27]  And He is the One who initiates the creation, then repeats it; this is even easier for Him. To Him belongs the most sublime similitude, in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Almighty, Most Wise.

Quran also talks about the above verses being true and that if they were false and the initiation was not required then this is an example of “No smoke without fire”, thus there would have been no repeating.

[34:49]  Say, “The truth has come; while falsehood can neither initiate anything, nor repeat it.”

 Taoism;

The Tao is not God and is not worshipped. Taoism includes many deities, that are worshipped in Taoist temples, they are part of the universe and depend, like everything, on the Tao

Islam;

The nature and the creation is manifestations of God but they are not deities.  There is only one deity in Islam which Muslims worship and that is our God the creator of the heavens and earth;

[6:102]  Such is GOD your Lord, there is no god except He, the Creator of all things. You shall worship Him alone. He is in control of all things.

Idol worship unforgivable sin in Islam;

[4:116]  GOD does not forgive idol worship (if maintained until death),* and He forgives lesser offenses for whomever He wills. Anyone who idolizes any idol beside GOD has strayed far astray.

 Authors note; There is not much one can say in Islam regarding Taoism because Islam believes in God while Taoism does not.  While Taoism include worshiping deities, while Muslims has no other deity than God and in Islam worshiping other than God is the greatest sin.  Taoism is based on Chinese philosophy while Islam is based on the word of God and the belief system with its rules and regulation based on this word the Quran (The Final Testament).  Taoism belief in Tao where being is created from non-being, however Muslims believe that everything came from a being that being is God.  In brief this comparison is enough to conclude this article.

Sikhism & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Common traits between Sikhism and Islam;

Sikhism;

Nam japna:

Keeping God in mind at all times.

Kirt Karna:

Earning an honest living. Since God is truth, a Sikh seeks to live honestly. This doesn’t just mean avoiding crime; Sikhs avoid gambling, begging, or working in the alcohol or tobacco industries.

Vand Chhakna:

(Literally, sharing one’s earnings with others) Giving to charity and caring for others.

Islam;

Islam also among other things accept and follow the three deities which Sikhs follow;

Muslims recite Salat (Contact Prayers) five times a day, say “God willing” when ever they do something, thank God by saying “God’s Gift” whenever some good things happen.  All these actions by Muslims keep God in forefront and remember God.

Honest living is also encouraged in Islam;

     Moses Marries

[28:26]  One of the two women said, “O my father, hire him. He is the best one to hire, for he is strong and honest.”

[44:18]  Proclaiming: “Listen to me, servants of GOD. I am an honest messenger to you.”

Islam forbids alcohol and gambling but says nothing about working in this industry, which is good because due to some unforgiving circumstance one might need to work in this industry and one can do so.

Giving to Charity is very important in Islam.  Once a man or a woman starts earning, he/she is obliged to pay Obligatory Charity called Zakat, from their income every time they get paid to their family, relatives or poor;

[2:43]  You shall observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and bow down with those who bow down.

Difference between Sikhism and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Sikhism;

Sikhism was founded in the 16th century in the Punjab district of what is now India and Pakistan. It was founded by Guru Nanak and is based on his teachings, and those of the 9 Sikh gurus who followed him.

Islam;

Islam is the first religion of the world, the first Muslim (Submitter in English) was Adam the first man who God created from mud.  At that time believing in God was sufficient to be a believer.  Adam was also a prophet, who received words (revelations) from God.  Later Abraham brought all the rites of Islam as we know it today, he also named this religion Islam (Submission in English) with the leave of God.  In Islam, humans have not created this religion, humans just abide and follow the words of God.  The prophets are those blessed humans who receive the word of God as scriptures like Torah (Old Testament), Gospel  (New Testament) and Quran (The Final Testament).  Muslims respect all prophets and messengers equally without making any distinction.  At least that’s what we should be doing, but the traditionalists have changed this and respect Muhammad more than other prophets, this is blasphemy and a great sin.   Thus these are hypocrites and not Muslims at all.  Muslims should follow Quran alone for their religious guidance, however, today’s Muslims use other literature like Hadith for religious guidance, which are not revelations from God but human words of, which are  7th  Century laws of ignorance.  Quran specifically tell us not to follow Hadith.

Adam received the words;

[2:37]  Then, Adam received from his Lord words, whereby He redeemed him. He is the Redeemer, Most Merciful.

Quran fully detailed;

[10:37]  This Quran could not possibly be authored by other than GOD. It confirms all previous messages, and provides a fully detailed scripture. It is infallible, for it comes from the Lord of the universe.

Hadith forbidden;

[12:111]  In their history, there is a lesson for those who possess intelligence. This is not fabricated Hadith; this (Quran) confirms all previous scriptures, provides the details of everything, and is a beacon and mercy for those who believe.

[31:6]  Among the people, there are those who uphold baseless Hadith, and thus divert others from the path of GOD without knowledge, and take it in vain. These have incurred a shameful retribution.

Sikhism;

Sikhism is a monotheistic religion.

Islam;

Islam is truly monotheistic religion.  Islam differs from other monotheistic religions, by the worship of God alone and denouncing any gods besides God no matter how subtle.  However, saying that let me qualify my statement, because today’s Muslims do just that, they idolise Muhammad and love him more then God.  This is indeed a greatest sin, and definitely those who do this are idol worshipers and not believers (Muslims) and if they do not repent and stop idol worshiping they will end up Hell.  I as a messenger of God denounce all this idolatry and ask others to do the same.

Muhammad never said to idolize him;

[3:79]  Never would a human being whom GOD blessed with the scripture and prophet hood say to the people, “Idolize me beside GOD.” Instead, (he would say), “Devote yourselves absolutely to your Lord alone,” according to the scripture you preach and the teachings you learn.

Only those who submit to God totally are believers;

[4:146]  Only those who repent, reform, hold fast to GOD, and devote their religion absolutely to GOD alone, will be counted with the believers. GOD will bless the believers with a great recompense.

 Sikhism;

Sikhism stresses the importance of doing good actions rather than merely carrying out rituals

Sikhs believe that the way to lead a good life is to:

keep God in heart and mind at all times

live honestly and work hard

treat everyone equally

be generous to the less fortunate

serve others

Islam;

Islam emphasize on living a righteous lives.  The righteousness is defined as follows in the Quran (The Final Testament);

     Righteousness Defined

[2:177]  Righteousness is not turning your faces towards the east or the west. Righteous are those who believe in GOD, the Last Day, the angels, the scripture, and the prophets; and they give the money, cheerfully, to the relatives, the orphans, the needy, the travelling alien, the beggars, and to free the slaves; and they observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat); and they keep their word whenever they make a promise; and they steadfastly persevere in the face of persecution, hardship, and war. These are the truthful; these are the righteous.

     Discouraging Capital Punishment*

[2:178]  O you who believe, equivalence is the law decreed for you when dealing with murder – the free for the free, the slave for the slave, the female for the female. If one is pardoned by the victim’s kin, an appreciative response is in order, and an equitable compensation shall be paid. This is an alleviation from your Lord and mercy. Anyone who transgresses beyond this incurs a painful retribution.

2:178 The Quran clearly discourages capital punishment. Every kind of excuse is provided to spare lives, including the life of the murderer. The victim’s kin may find it better, under certain circumstances, to spare the life of the murderer in exchange for an equitable compensation. Also capital punishment is not applicable if, for example, a woman kills a man, or vice versa.

[2:179]  Equivalence is a life saving law for you, O you who possess intelligence, that you may be righteous.

Sikhism;

Sikhs believe that human beings spend their time in a cycle of birth, life, and rebirth. They share this belief with followers of other Indian religious traditions such as Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism

Islam;

Islam believes in two lives and two deaths for the disbelievers and two lives and one death for the believers.

     Two Deaths and Two Lives for the Disbelievers

[2:28]  How can you disbelieve in GOD when you were dead and He gave you life, then He puts you to death, then He brings you back to life, then to Him you ultimately return?

     They Go Straight to Paradise

[16:32]  The angels terminate their lives in a state of righteousness, saying, “Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise (now) as a reward for your works.”*

*16:30-32 The righteous taste only the first death, which has been already experienced by all of us (see 44:56). At the end of their interim in this world, the angels of death simply invite them to move on to the Paradise where Adam and Eve once lived (2:154, 3:169, 8:24, 22:58, 36:26-27).

Thus in Islam there is emphasis on a fact that this life is our last chance to redeem our selves and make it to the Paradise, the same Paradise from where Adam & Eve were evicted from and where they are now with all the Prophets and messengers and believers.

Sikhism;

Getting close to God

When a Sikh wants to see God, they look both at the created world and into their own heart and soul.

Their aim is to see the divine order that God has given to everything, and through it to understand the nature of God.

Islam;

In Islam one cannot see God but can see God’s creation.  Many times in the Quran it is emphasis to observe God’s signs like night and day etc;

[7:26]  O children of Adam, we have provided you with garments to cover your bodies, as well as for luxury. But the best garment is the garment of righteousness. These are some of GOD’s signs, that they may take heed.

Quran enlightens us that we cannot fathom the greatness of God, however, we can only appreciate in this world what God has shown us and Glorify God every moment that we observe these signs.

Sikhism;

Sikhs believe that most of us misunderstand the universe. We think that it exists on its own, when it really exists because God wills it to exist, and is a portrait of God’s own nature

Islam;

Quran tells us that God is holding together the Universes;

     Greatness of God

[39:67]  They can never fathom the greatness of GOD. The whole earth is within His fist on the Day of Resurrection. In fact, the universes are folded within His right hand. Be He glorified; He is much too high above needing any partners.

Sikhism;

A Sikh serves God by serving (seva) other people every day. By devoting their lives to service they get rid of their own ego and pride

Islam;

Quran accept the ranks in life, some have high ranks and others are subordinates, God approves that and tells the believers to recognise and fulfil this arrangement.  God also does not like egos and asks us to demolish any ego we might have, God likes the humble and righteous.

[6:165]  He is the One who made you inheritors of the earth, and He raised some of you above others in rank, in order to test you in accordance with what He has given you. Surely, your Lord is efficient in enforcing retribution, and He is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

[43:32]  Are they the ones who assign your Lord’s mercy? We have assigned their shares in this life, raising some of them above others in ranks, in order to let them serve one another. The mercy from your Lord is far better than any material they may hoard.

Setting egos as gods is absurd

[2:54]  Recall that Moses said to his people, “O my people, you have wronged your souls by worshiping the calf. You must repent to your Creator. You shall kill your egos. This is better for you in the sight of your Creator.” He did redeem you. He is the Redeemer, Most Merciful.

[25:43]  Have you seen the one whose god is his own ego? Will you be his advocate?

[45:23]  Have you noted the one whose god is his ego? Consequently, GOD sends him astray, despite his knowledge, seals his hearing and his mind, and places a veil on his eyes. Who then can guide him, after such a decision by GOD? Would you not take heed?

Sikhism and abortion

Abortion is generally forbidden in Sikhism, as it interferes in the creative work of God – who created everything and is present in every being.

Most Sikhs accept that life begins at conception (one reference is found on page 74 of the Guru Granth Sahib).

So if conception has taken place, it would be a sin to destroy life and hence deliberate miscarriage or abortion is forbidden.

Islam;

Islam allows selective abortion.  According to Islam life does not begin at conception.  Life begins when foetus is formed in the womb.  Because only taking life is forbidden (unjustifiably) in Islam abortion is allowed when baby is just an embryo.  This fact .i.e. life is given to foetus is described in the following verse, which further clarifies that embryo can be aborted (the formation of fetus is when the baby moves and it has brain about 13 weeks time about 3 months);

[22:5]  O people, if you have any doubt about resurrection, (remember that) we created you from dust, and subsequently from a tiny drop, which turns into a hanging (embryo), then it becomes a foetus that is given life or deemed lifeless.

*This law is very important in the case of rape.  Also the birth controlling pill also works in similar fashion.  The gender of the baby cannot be recognized at the embryo stage, therefore this type of abortion is safe as regards to selection of baby gender.

Santeria & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Difference between Santeria and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Santeria;

The religion focuses on building relationships between human beings and powerful, but mortal, spirits, called Orishas. An Orisha is a manifestation of Olodumare (God).

Islam;

Islam recognizes the fact that there are spirits which are called Jinn’s in Arabic in the language the Quran was revealed.  Quran is the Final Testament from God.  Jinn’s are part of the human being and are born when the human being dies.  The following verses are talking about Jinn’s who is herder in a sense that eggs you on the devils path and also it is a witness.

0:21]  Every soul comes with a herder and a witness.

[50:22]  You used to be oblivious to this. We now remove your veil; today, your vision is (as strong as) steel.

[50:23]  The companion said, “Here is my formidable testimony.”

So how do we know the herder and a witness is the devil.  The following verse is talking about devil being companion of the disbelievers;

[43:36]  Anyone who disregards the message of the Most Gracious, we appoint a devil to be his constant companion.

God tells us in the Quran that God pairs the humans with Jinn’s according to what their intentions might be.  God knows our future and the past thus He can judge us and pair us accordingly;

[7:27]  O children of Adam, do not let the devil dupe you as he did when he caused the eviction of your parents from Paradise, and the removal of their garments to expose their bodies. He and his tribe see you, while you do not see them. We appoint the devils as companions of those who do not believe.

Since Jinn’s are born when the human dies its preborn life is long (about 70 to 90 years an average human life expectancy) Jinn’s are known to live for hundreds or thousands of years this is God’s grace to give them long life in order for them to redeem their Souls by becoming righteous and stop idol worship but they must die as well and they do..  Jinn’s are invisible to humans but they can see us and they are very powerful more powerful than humans an example of their power is where Solomon asked a Jinn to bring Sheba’s castle in a blink of an eye from a far fetched land,

     Faster Than the Speed of Light

[27:38]  He said, “O you elders, which of you can bring me her mansion, before they arrive here as submitters?”

[27:39]  One a frit from the jinn’s said, “I can bring it to you before you stand up. I am powerful enough to do this.”

[27:40]  The one who possessed knowledge from the book said, “I can bring it to you in the blink of your eye.” When he saw it settled in front of him, he said, “This is a blessing from my Lord, whereby He tests me, to show whether I am appreciative or unappreciative. Whoever is appreciative is appreciative for his own good, and if one turns unappreciative, then my Lord is in no need for him, Most Honorable.”

Muslims are told to stay well away from Jinn’s because majority of Jinn’s are not believers and they are used by men to breakup marriages.  Jinn’s and Human’s both will be judged on the Day of Judgment.  Worshiping Jinn’s is common in the world but it is a great sin as well;

[6:128]  The day will come when He summons all of them (and says): “O you jinn’s, you have claimed multitudes of humans.” Their human companions will say, “Our Lord, we enjoyed each others’ company until we wasted the life span You had set for us.” He will say, “Hell is your destiny.” They abide therein forever, in accordance with GOD’s will. Your Lord is Wise, Omniscient.

[15:27]  As for the jinn’s, we created them, before that, from blazing fire.

[6:100]  Yet, they set up beside GOD idols from among the jinn’s, though He is the One who created them. They even attribute to Him sons and daughters, without any knowledge. Be He glorified. He is the Most High, far above their claims.

 As for thinking that Jinn is God, it is totally absurd.  God is more powerful and the Creator of the Heavens and Earth and Jinn’s themselves, so there is no comparison between Jinn’s and God;

[6:102]  Such is GOD your Lord, there is no god except He, the Creator of all things. You shall worship Him alone. He is in control of all things.

[36:81]  Is not the One who created the heavens and the earth able to recreate the same? Yes indeed; He is the Creator, the Omniscient.

Indeed both humans and jinns should worship God Alone

     The Purpose of Our Existence

[51:56]  I did not create the jinns and the humans except to worship Me alone.

Santeria;

 This is very much a mutual relationship as the Orishas need to be worshipped by human beings if they are to continue to exist.

Islam;

God tells us that the devil is a liar and a cheat;

[4:117]  They even worship female gods besides Him; as a matter of fact, they only worship a rebellious devil.

[4:118]  GOD has condemned him, and he said, “I will surely recruit a definite share of Your worshipers.

[4:119]  “I will mislead them, I will entice them, I will command them to (forbid the eating of certain meats by) marking the ears of livestock, and I will command them to distort the creation of GOD.” Anyone who accepts the devil as a lord, instead of GOD, has incurred a profound loss.

[4:120]  He promises them and entices them; what the devil promises is no more than an illusion.

[4:121]  These have incurred Hell as their final abode, and can never evade it.

He is also called whisperer;

[114:4]  “From the evils of sneaky whisperers.

[114:5]  “Who whisper into the chests of the people.

[114:6]  “Be they of the jinn’s, or the people.”

He can and will whisper unsavory things in your ears which you start believing in.  Devil does not require for them to be worshiped to live, they only ask people to worship them because they are the enemy of God and would lead loads of people to idol worship them and end up in Hell;

[4:118]  GOD has condemned him, and he said, “I will surely recruit a definite share of Your worshipers.

Santeria;

Santeria has no scriptures and is passed on by word-of-mouth.

 Islam;

Islam believes in Scriptures the Torah, the Gospel and the Quran (The Final Testament) as they were revealed to the prophets.  The Torah and the Gospel are not the same as they were revealed to the prophets, because of lost documents, omissions, corruption and the authors were not the prophets;

[3:187]  GOD took a covenant from those who received the scripture: “You shall proclaim it to the people, and never conceal it.” But they disregarded it behind their backs, and traded it away for a cheap price. What a miserable trade.

 However, the Quran was written by the hands of the prophet as it was revealed and has been passed from generation to generation in the same form;

[25:4]  Those who disbelieved said, “This is a fabrication that he produced, with the help of some other people.” They have uttered a blasphemy and a falsehood.

[25:5]  They also said, “Tales from the past that he wrote down; they were dictated to him day and night.”*

*25:5 Muhammad’s contemporaries knew that he was a literate man who could read and write; he wrote God’s revelations with his own hand.

[53:4]  It was divine inspiration.

[53:5]  Dictated by the Most Powerful.

 Quran is a proven word of God, not only the text is brilliant, it has a underling mathematical structure which no Jinn or Human can break;

     Mathematical Challenge

[2:23]  If you have any doubt regarding what we revealed to our servant, then produce one sura like these, and call upon your own witnesses against GOD, if you are truthful.

[2:24]  If you cannot do this – and you can never do this – then beware of the Hellfire, whose fuel is people and rocks; it awaits the disbelievers.

Hinduism & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Common traits between Hinduism and Islam;

Hinduism;

In some ways Hinduism is the oldest religion in the world, or at least elements within it stretch back many thousands of years.

Islam;

Islam means Submission to God since all of us are sent by God on earth we can conceive to be the servants of God. So keeping that in mind Adam being the first human on earth with religious baggage was the first Submitter this make Islam the oldest religion in the world.

Hinduism;

Unlike most other religions, Hinduism has no single founder, no single scripture, and no commonly agreed set of teachings. Throughout its extensive history there have been many key figures teaching different philosophies and writing numerous holy books. For these reasons, writers often refer to Hinduism as ‘a way of life’ or ‘a family of religions’ rather than a single religion.

Islam;

God is creator of Islam.  God sent many messengers; through these messengers God sent many revelations.  However, each time the messenger came the previous community rejected him and carried on with their traditions, thus creating different religions and sects.  In fact from the very first time the revelations were sent to today the basic fundamental message has been the same worship of God Alone.  Quran is the final testament to world and in it is said that no other religion is acceptable to God other then Submission to God (Islam).  The apparent name of a religion does not matter, one might be Christian, or Jew or a Hindu as long as one believes in God, lead a righteous life and believe in Hereafter then one has nothing to fear or greave.

Hinduism;

Most Hindus believe in a Supreme God, whose qualities and forms are represented by the multitude of deities which emanate from him.

Islam;

Muslims believe that God is creator of all the things, even the human made things are inspired by God and at first instance was made or copied from nature which God created.  Muslims associate all the nice things in the world are manifestations of God and if we look hard enough, we will find God’s hand in making these things nice.  In this sense Hindu belief is like Muslim belief.

Hinduism;

Hindus believe that existence is a, of birth, death and rebirth, governed by Karma (Action having equal reaction).

Islam;

Islam does believe that our actions, makes us what we are, however, God is the ultimate judge, and He is capable of forgiving our actions which were less then righteous.  Thus if we lead a righteous life and worship in God alone, we will lead a happy life on earth and Hereafter we will be rewarded a great deal as well.  There is no rebirth in Islam, once you are dead the righteous (soul) goes to the Paradise straight away and the non-righteous (soul) is put to sleep like trance somewhere in the Universe until the Day of Judgment when these are resurrected, and the final judgment takes place.  On the death of a person the soul lose all contact with this world until the Day of Judgment.

Hinduism;

Atman (Concept)

Atman means ‘eternal self’. The atman refers to the real self beyond ego or false self. It is often referred to as ‘spirit’ or ‘soul’ and indicates our true self or essence which underlies our existence.

There are many interesting perspectives on the self in Hinduism ranging from the self as eternal servant of God to the self as being identified with God. The understanding of the self as eternal supports the idea of reincarnation in that the same eternal being can inhabit temporary bodies.

The idea of atman entails the idea of the self as a spiritual rather than material being and thus there is a strong dimension of Hinduism which emphasizes detachment from the material world and promotes practices such as asceticism. Thus it could be said that in this world, a spiritual being, the atman, has a human experience rather than a human being having a spiritual experience

Islam;

Quran also talks about souls.  The souls are eternal for the righteous but not for the non-righteous.  Quran talks about disbelievers losing their souls on the Day of Resurrection;

[6:12]  Say, “To whom belongs everything in the heavens and the earth?” Say, “To GOD.” He has decreed that mercy is His attribute. He will surely summon you all on the Day of Resurrection, which is inevitable. The ones who lose their souls are those who disbelieve.

In fact all the good or bad work we do on earth is incurred on the soul and the soul is the real beneficiary.  Not all souls are believers.  The worship of God nourishes the soul, and the souls which are the heaviest on the Day of Judgement will be most prominent.  Muslims believe that our actions are attributed to our souls in spiritual sense.  Quran does not emphasize on detachment from the material world, but encourages to do well in commerce etc, because wealthy Muslim believers can do more to spend in the cause of God then those who are not so wealthy, indeed Solomon was a Muslim prophet who was endowed with lot of wealth and resources, which he also spend in the cause of God.

Hinduism;

Dharma (Concept)

Dharma is an important term in Indian religions. In Hinduism it means ‘duty’, ‘virtue’, ‘morality’, even ‘religion’ and it refers to the power which upholds the universe and society. Hindus generally believe that dharma was revealed in the Vedas although a more common word there for ‘universal law’ or ‘righteousness’ is rita. Dharma is the power that maintains society, it makes the grass grow, the sun shine, and makes us moral people or rather gives humans the opportunity to act virtuously.

But acting virtuously does not mean precisely the same for everyone; different people have different obligations and duties according to their age, gender, and social position. Dharma is universal but it is also particular and operates within concrete circumstances. Each person therefore has their own dharma known as sva-dharma. What is correct for a woman might not be for a man or what is correct for an adult might not be for a child.

Islam;

The physical nature of the Universe is held by the laws of Physics which are instituted by God, the spiritual side of Universe as in Society is somewhat based on human’s, however their ultimate control is in the hands of God.  Thus duty, virtue or morality all are part of the human nature which come into play when this Universe is held together as in Society.  Islam has no nonsense in it, thus it regards the unique qualities of men and women and recognises their differences.  Muslims are allowed to roam the earth for 40 years and make the decision if they want to be Muslims.  Thus every human being has freedom of choice to choose the direction they want to take as regards to religion.  It is God’s immense Mercy that whoever dies before the age of forty goes to Heaven, despite what race or religious background he/she might have.

                 40: The Age of Decision*

[46:15]  We enjoined the human being to honor his parents. His mother bore him arduously, gave birth to him arduously, and took intimate care of him for thirty months. When he reaches maturity, and reaches the age of forty,* he should say, “My Lord, direct me to appreciate the blessings You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do the righteous works that please You. Let my children be righteous as well. I have repented to You; I am a submitter.”

*46:15 God knows full well who deserves to go to Heaven and who deserves to go to Hell. It is His law that whomever He puts to death before the age of 40 shall go to Heaven. God’s immense mercy is reflected in the fact that most people have difficulty accepting this divine mercy; they argue: “Put them in Hell!”.

Hinduism;

Varna (Concept)

 A display showing different castes in Rajasthan, India, brought to England in 1894 by Frederick Horniman. Now exhibited in the Horniman Museum, London.  An important idea that developed in classical Hinduism is that dharma refers especially to a person’s responsibility regarding class (varna) and stage of life (ashrama). This is called varnashrama-dharma. In Hindu history the highest class, the Brahmins, adhered to this doctrine. The class system is a model or ideal of social order that first occurs in the oldest Hindu text, the Rig Veda and the present-day caste (jati) system may be rooted in this.

Islam;

There is no caste system in Islam.  However, God acknowledges the fact that there will be boss and its subordinates.  Thus the subordinates have to follow orders from his/her boss and that is the way of life and smooth running of the world;

[43:32]  Are they the ones who assign your Lord’s mercy? We have assigned their shares in this life, raising some of them above others in ranks, to let them serve one another. The mercy from your Lord is far better than any material they may hoard.

There is another example in the Quran where allegorically God explains the fact that idol worship is absurd, by explaining the fact that a boss will not equal a servant in pay or conditions, if the boss can help it, so why would God be equal to an idol?

[30:26]  To Him belongs everyone in the heavens and the earth; all are subservient to Him.

[30:27]  And He is the One who initiates the creation, then repeats it; this is even easier for Him. To Him belongs the most sublime similitude, in the heavens and the earth, and He is the Almighty, Most Wise.

                 Absurdity of Idol Worship

[30:28]  He cites for you herein an example from among yourselves: Do you ever elevate your servants or subordinates to the level where they rival you, and to the point that you pay them as much allegiance as is being paid to you? We thus explain the revelations for people who understand.

The time the Quran was revealed slavery was ripe.  Islam was in favour of liberating slaves, and you will find many verses in the Quran which favoured the slaves such as;

[4:25]  Those among you who cannot afford to marry free believing women, may marry believing slave women. GOD knows best about your belief, and you are equal, as far as belief is concerned. You shall obtain permission from their guardians before you marry them and pay them their due dowry equitably. They shall maintain moral behavior, by not committing adultery, or having secret lovers. Once they are freed through marriage, if they commit adultery, their punishment shall be half of that for the free women. * Marrying a slave shall be a last resort for those unable to wait. To be patient is better for you. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

*4:25 This law proves that the punishment for adultery could not possibly be stoning to death as stated in the laws of corrupted Muslims (see 24:2).

Hinduism;

Karma and Samsara (Concept)

Karma is a Sanskrit word whose literal meaning is ‘action’. It refers to the law that every action has an equal reaction either immediately or at some point in the future. Good or virtuous actions, actions in harmony with dharma, will have good reactions or responses and bad actions, actions against dharma, will have the opposite effect.

In Hinduism karma operates not only in this lifetime but across lifetimes: the results of an action might only be experienced after the present life in a new life.

Hindus believe that human beings can create good or bad consequences for their actions and might reap the rewards of action in this life, in a future human rebirth or reap the rewards of action in a heavenly or hell realm in which the self is reborn for a period.

Islam;

Islam totally believes that our action’s makes us what we are.  Good actions will bring good rewards and bad actions will bring misery.  However, God is in control of all its creatures and He may forgive our sins when He wants to.  The emphasis is on righteous works, and the most righteous work is worship of God Alone, and the worst work is setting up god besides God or idol worship. Idol worship is the only sin which is unforgivable by God if maintained until death all other sins God will forgive for whomever He wants.  Islam does not believe in reincarnation, but believes in the Day of Resurrection, that is the day when this world comes to an end and judgement is made on all the people.  So why is it so important that we should worship God Alone?  The main reason is that God created the Universe and the Earth, He initiated us and then reproduced us from sperm and egg, He designs us in mothers bellies, He brings us up, provides us with provisions through our lives and ultimately we shall return to Him, basically He is our Master, so then if you thank Jesus, Muhammad or any other entity for all which God provided us with, then it is quite wrong.  Thus it makes sense that we worship God Alone and is utmost important in Islam (Submission).

[2:21]  O people, worship only your Lord – the One who created you and those before you – that you may be saved.

[2:29]  He is the One who created for you everything on earth, then turned to the sky and perfected seven universes therein, and He is fully aware of all things.

[4:1]  O people, observe your Lord; the One who created you from one being, and created from it its mate, then spread from the two many men and women. You shall regard GOD, by whom you swear, and regard the parents. GOD is watching over you.*

                 The Unforgivable Sin

[4:116]  GOD does not forgive idol worship (if maintained until death),* and He forgives lesser offenses for whomever He wills. Anyone who idolizes any idol beside GOD has strayed far astray.

*4:116 A simple definition of idolatry: Excessive attachment or veneration for anything; respect or love which borders on adoration

Hinduism;

Hinduism and abortion (ethics)

Hindu medical ethics stem from the principle of ahimsa – of non-violence.

When, considering abortion the Hindu way is to choose the action that will do least harm to all involved: the mother and father, the foetus and society.

Hinduism is therefore generally opposed to abortion except where it is necessary to save the mother’s life.

Islam;

Islam recognizes the fact under certain circumstances abortion may be required, for example in the case of rape, or in the general function of contraceptive pill where it aborts the embryo in early stages.  Only taking (killing) life is wrong, and the life is only given to fetus and not an embryo.  Thus abortion is allowed at embryo stage but not at fetus stage. Formation of fetus bring in the movement in the baby and it is because the brain is formed before that baby was a mass of cells as an embryo without life as we human associate with the early development of fetus happens after 13 weeks, abortion is allowed anytime before this as life is only given to fetus. This is written in the Quran from conception to fetus all is catalogued in the Quran Chapter 22 verse 5. The following verse explains the fact that life is only given to fetus, thus abortion before this stage is valid.

Santeria & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Difference between Santeria and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Santeria;

The religion focuses on building relationships between human beings and powerful, but mortal, spirits, called Orishas. An Orisha is a manifestation of Olodumare (God).

Islam;

So how do we know the herder and a witness is the devil.  The following verse is talking about devil being companion of the disbelievers;

[43:36]  Anyone who disregards the message of the Most Gracious, we appoint a devil to be his constant companion.

God tells us in the Quran that God pairs the humans with Jinn’s according to what their intentions might be.  God knows our future and the past thus He can judge us and pair us accordingly;

Muslims are told to stay well away from Jinn’s because majority of Jinn’s are not believers and they are used by men to breakup marriages.  Jinn’s and Human’s both will be judged on the Day of Judgment.  Worshiping Jinn’s is common in the world but it is a great sin as well;

 As for thinking that Jinn is God, it is totally absurd.  God is more powerful and the Creator of the Heavens and Earth and Jinn’s themselves, so there is no comparison between Jinn’s and God;

Santeria;

 This is very much a mutual relationship as the Orishas need to be worshipped by human beings if they are to continue to exist.

Islam;

God tells us that the devil is a liar and a cheat;

He is also called whisperer;

[114:4]  “From the evils of sneaky whisperers.

[114:5]  “Who whisper into the chests of the people.

[114:6]  “Be they of the jinn’s, or the people.”

He can and will whisper unsavory things in your ears which you start believing in.  Devil does not require for them to be worshiped to live, they only ask people to worship them because they are the enemy of God and would lead loads of people to idol worship them and end up in Hell;

[4:118]  GOD has condemned him, and he said, “I will surely recruit a definite share of Your worshipers.

Santeria;

Santeria has no scriptures and is passed on by word-of-mouth.

 Islam;

Islam believes in Scriptures the Torah, the Gospel and the Quran (The Final Testament) as they were revealed to the prophets.  The Torah and the Gospel are not the same as they were revealed to the prophets, because of lost documents, omissions, corruption and the authors were not the prophets;

[3:187]  GOD took a covenant from those who received the scripture: “You shall proclaim it to the people, and never conceal it.” But they disregarded it behind their backs, and traded it away for a cheap price. What a miserable trade.

 However, the Quran was written by the hands of the prophet as it was revealed and has been passed from generation to generation in the same form;

 Quran is a proven word of God, not only the text is brilliant, it has a underling mathematical structure which no Jinn or Human can break;

Spiritualism & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Difference between Spiritualism and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Spiritualism;

Spiritualists communicate with the spirits of people who have physically died. Such communication is thought to be beneficial to the dead and the living.

The validity of Spiritualism has always been controversial, partly because of the negative image that fraudulent people have given of communications from the ‘other side’.

Islam;

Islam recognizes the fact that there are spirits which are called Jinn’s in Arabic in the language the Quran was revealed. Quran is the Final Testament from God. Jinn’s are part of the human being and are born when the human being dies.      The Purpose of Our Existence

[51:56]  I did not create the jinn’s and the humans except to worship Me alone.

Spiritualism;

Spiritualism is too diverse to have a universal code of beliefs; instead, Spiritualists accept sets of more wide ranging principles.

We believe in freedom of religion and freedom of worship – and that you worship God in your own way. Spiritualism gives you a set of values that enables you to think about how your relationship with God should be.

Alan Baker, President of the Havant Spiritualist Church

**A authors note;

Thus based on the fact that Spiritualists do not have universal code of beliefs and has freedom of religion and worship, there is not much more which can be compared with Islam.  Islam is based on belief system encouraged with commandments from God rules and principles which one has to abide by.  Thus there are fundamental differences between the two religions which cannot be compared.  Thus I finish this article here.

Unitarian & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Common traits between Unitarian and Islam;

Unitarian;

Early Unitarians felt that the language of the Bible spoke clearly of “one God”. Because of this they felt that the traditional Christian idea of God being a Trinity was wrong.

Islam;

Muslims also believe in one God.  Quran the holy book of Islam is the Final Testament there will not be any other book after Quran sent by God.  Quran recognises the Old and New Testaments.  Quran confirms and supersede the previous Testaments.   Quran recognises the previous Testaments which were revealed to those Prophets.  As you know the previous scriptures are not exactly what the prophets brought, there are omissions, discrepancies, loses in translation and they are written by other than the prophets.  However, Quran was revealed to Muhammad who wrote it down and then it was passed from generation to generation in its pristine condition.  The fact that Quran is as original as at the time of its revelation has been confirmed recently in the 20th century by a scientist and a messenger from U.S.A who researched the mathematical code of the Quran which proved beyond doubt this Quran is exactly the same as it was revealed to Muhammad over 1400 years ago (Search for Mathematical Miracle of the Quran on this web site for further detail).  Thus very briefly the discrepancy in the New Testament is what is stating the Trinity and Jesus never believed in Trinity or asked his disciples to  practice Trinity.  His message was clear and precise only worship God your Lord and my Lord;

[3:50]  “I confirm previous scripture – the Torah – and I revoke certain prohibitions imposed upon you. I come to you with sufficient proof from your Lord. Therefore, you shall observe GOD, and obey me.

[3:51]  “GOD is my Lord and your Lord; you shall worship Him alone. This is the right path.”

[3:52]  When Jesus sensed their disbelief, he said, “Who are my supporters towards GOD?” The disciples said, “We are GOD’s supporters; we believe in GOD, and bear witness that we are submitters (Or Muslims in Arabic).”

Unitarian;

Unitarians are so called because they insist on the oneness of God and because they affirm the essential unity of humankind and of creation

Islam;

Muslims believe that before the creation of the humans we all lived in the Heavenly Society all as the same beings.  The creation as you see it today were part of this society and they were equal to humans.   A dispute in this “High Society” was the start of a test which incurred creation of Heavens and the Earth and categorization of Humans and other creatures;

[38:69]  “I had no knowledge previously, about the feud in the High Society.

 In this sense there is unity of humankind and of creation.  However, for a temporary measure God has ranked within humans for example boss and servant relationship is present today.  Also God has made humans rule the creation for example cattle, crops, various fruits are all subservient to human and are means of provision for the humans.  According to the Quran, this world is a test for the believers and who ever do righteous work in this world and not set up any idols as their god will pass this test and make it to the paradise which is permanent;

[11:7]  He is the One who created the heavens and the earth in six days –  and His (earthly) domain was completely covered with water –  in order to test you, to distinguish those among you who work righteousness. Yet, when you say, “You will be resurrected after death,” those who disbelieve would say, “This is clearly witchcraft.”

Difference between Unitarian and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Unitarian;

Unitarianism has no standard set of beliefs

Islam;

Islam has standard set of beliefs.  The main belief in Islam is that there is no god besides God.  And then there are beliefs which are less important like we believe in what was brought down to all the prophets, also Muslims should live righteous lives.  Most of the Quran is about encouraging the belief in God, and the ways of the wicket who deviate from this belief.  In short belief is a very important part of Islam.  Today this belief comes with mathematical proves which are beyond doubt the truth.  Thus the belief of the past is fact of today (please search for relevance of mathematical miracle of the Quran number 19 in this web site).

Unitarian;

Unitarians believe that religious truth is not necessarily or primarily laid down either in scriptures, by a holy person or by a religious institution no individual or group in Unitarianism makes an exclusive claim to the truth within certain core values each Unitarian can believe what they feel is right

Islam;

Islam proclaims that Quran is the word of God.  This is a fact based on many years research on the Quran using common prime number as a denominator 19 of the code in the Quran.  The codes in the Quran leave no doubt that this book can only be from God.  Hence Quran is not the word of Muhammad, Quran was the revelations from God mediated by angel Gabriel to Muhammad who wrote these down when they were revealed;

     Gabriel Mediates the Revelation

[2:97]  Say, “Anyone who opposes Gabriel should know that he has brought down this (Quran) into your heart, in accordance with GOD’s will, confirming previous scriptures, and providing guidance and good news for the believers.”

In Islam as far as the religion is concerned we believe what the Quran says.  Quran is a dynamic book which through the usage of miracle of 19 confirms issues regarding the world and there relationship with Islam.  Things like “surrogacy”, “abortion”, “Punishment for thief” etc things which were beyond reach before have now been verified.

Unitarian;

Unitarians are skeptical about any one person or tradition possessing the whole truth. They are also increasingly aware of the inherent value of diversity for the wellbeing of the natural world.  With these points in mind, Unitarians suggest that human differences of opinion and lifestyle should be seen as potentially creative and enriching, rather than necessarily destructive.

Islam;

Islam unifies all religion into one.  Islam is a Arabic word for Submission, thus any person of any religion submits to God is a Muslim.  The following verse clarifies what Islam really stand for;

Thus the diversity of religions is encompassed within one, that is many religions but one message, Submission to One God.

Unitarian;

Jesus was a man, not God

Jesus was not physically resurrected

Jesus was a Jewish prophet with a mission of reconciliation

Jesus was filled with divine inspiration

Jesus is a supreme example of living with integrity and compassion

Jesus’ life is reflective of the divine potential in all of us

Islam;

Quran addresses Jesus as son of Mary and not son of God.  This describes Jesus precisely as a human;

[5:17]  Pagans indeed are those who say that GOD is the Messiah, the son of Mary. Say, “Who could oppose GOD if He willed to annihilate the Messiah, son of Mary, and his mother, and everyone on earth?” To GOD belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and everything between them. He creates whatever He wills. GOD is Omnipotent.

Jesus was not resurrected physically or spiritually in any way or form.  Jesus is dead as far as this world is concerned.  However, all believer’s souls go straight to Paradise when they die, Jesus was a believer and he is in Paradise now.  As far as this world is concerned he has no communication with us in the slightest;

[36:22]  “Why should I not worship the One who initiated me, and to Him is your ultimate return?

[36:23]  “Shall I set up beside Him gods? If the Most Gracious willed any harm for me, their intercession cannot help me one bit, nor can they rescue me.

[36:24]  “In that case, I would be totally astray.

[36:25]  “I have believed in your Lord; please listen to me.”

     The Righteous Go Straight to Paradise

[36:26]  (At the time of his death) he was told, “Enter Paradise.” He said, “Oh, I wish my people knew.

[36:27]  “That my Lord has forgiven me, and made me honorable.”

Souls are kept well away from earth after death;

[23:100]  “I will then work righteousness in everything I left.” Not true. This is a false claim that he makes. A barrier will separate his soul from this world until resurrection.

Thus Jesus is not alive as Christians believe.  All prophets led by example including Jesus thus compassion and integrity might have been his strong points, as any person with character may have those qualities.  Jesus was not divine nor  any human being is divine, only God is divine.  Jesus was righteous and Submitter to God and every human being should try to achieve what Jesus achieved in his life time, and set an example for all of us;

     Today’s Christianity Not Jesus’ Religion

[5:72]  Pagans indeed are those who say that GOD is the Messiah, son of Mary. The Messiah himself said, “O Children of Israel, you shall worship GOD; my Lord and your Lord.” Anyone who sets up any idol beside GOD, GOD has forbidden Paradise for him, and his destiny is Hell. The wicked have no helpers.

Shinto & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Difference between Shinto and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Shinto;

Shinto is not a way of explaining the world. What matters are rituals that enable human beings to communicate with kami.

Kami are not God or gods. They are spirits that are concerned with human beings – they appreciate our interest in them and want us to be happy – and if they are treated properly they will intervene in our lives to bring benefits like health, business success, and good exam results.

Islam;

Islam recognizes the fact that there are spirits which are called Jinn’s in Arabic in the language the Quran was revealed. Quran is the Final Testament from God. Jinn’s are part of the human being and are born when the human being dies. The following verses are talking about Jinn’s who is herder in a sense that eggs you on the devils path and also a witness (like conscious and sub-conscious and the sub-conscious would be Jinn);

[50:21] Every soul comes with a herder and a witness.

[50:22] You used to be oblivious to this. We now remove your veil; today, your vision is (as strong as) steel.

[50:23] The companion said, “Here is my formidable testimony.”

So how do we know the herder and a witness is the devil. The following verse is talking about devil being companion of the disbelievers;

God tells us in the Quran that God pairs the humans with Jinn’s according to what their intentions might be. God knows our future and the past thus He can judge us and pair us accordingly;

[7:27] O children of Adam, do not let the devil dupe you as he did when he caused the eviction of your parents from Paradise, and the removal of their garments to expose their bodies. He and his tribe see you, while you do not see them. We appoint the devils as companions of those who do not believe.

Since Jinn’s preborn life is long (about 70 to 90 years an average human life expectancy) Jinn’s live hundreds of years but they die like humans. Jinn’s are invisible to humans but they can see us and they are more powerful than humans an example of their power is where Solomon asked a Jinn to bring Sheba’s castle in a blink of an eye;

Muslims are told to stay well away from Jinn’s because majority of Jinn’s are not believers and they are used by men to breakup marriages. Jinn’s and Human’s both will be judged on the Day of Judgment. Worshiping Jinn’s is common in the world but it is a great sin as well;

As for thinking that Jinn is God, it is totally absurd. God is more powerful and the Creator of the Heavens and Earth and Jinn’s themselves, so there is no comparison between Jinn’s and God;

[6:102] Such is GOD your Lord, there is no god except He, the Creator of all things. You shall worship Him alone. He is in control of all things.

[36:81] Is not the One who created the heavens and the earth able to recreate the same? Yes indeed; He is the Creator, the Omniscient.

It has been foretold in the Quran that people will worship the devil;

[34:41]  They will answer, “Be You glorified. You are our Lord and Master, not them. Instead, they were worshiping the Jinn’s; most of them were believers therein.”

However, only God is worthy of worship;

[51:56]  I did not create the Jinn’s and the humans except to worship Me alone.

One of the attribute of God is that He is All Powerful and only God can help us, it might seem others are helping us, but the ultimate helper is God because He has control over all things;

[3:109]  To GOD belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth, and all matters are controlled by GOD.

Shinto;

Shinto teaches important ethical principles but has no commandments

Islam;

Quran (The Final Testament) teaches us ethical principles and has commandments.  Quran teaches us how to live righteous lives and the most fundamental command in the Quran is not to set up idols as gods and to only Worship God the creator of the Heavens and the Earth.  The following verses stipulate this clearly;

     Righteousness Defined

[2:177]  Righteousness is not turning your faces towards the east or the west. Righteous are those who believe in GOD, the Last Day, the angels, the scripture, and the prophets; and they give the money, cheerfully, to the relatives, the orphans, the needy, the traveling alien, the beggars, and to free the slaves; and they observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat); and they keep their word whenever they make a promise; and they steadfastly persevere in the face of persecution, hardship, and war.

**2:178 The Quran clearly discourages capital punishment.

The above were ethical commandments of how to live righteous life, the following verse stipulates that we should follow these commandments;

[2:189]  They ask you about the phases of the moon! Say, “They provide a timing device for the people, and determine the time of Hajj.” It is not righteous to beat around the bush;* righteousness is attained by upholding the commandments and by being straightforward. You shall observe GOD, that you may succeed.

Shinto;

Shinto has no God

Islam;

Quran is over whelmed with proofs regarding the existence and greatness of God.  A very simple example of manifestation of God is this Universe.  This Universe and the Earth we live on did not exist always, God created it;

                    The Big Bang Theory Confirmed*

[21:30]  Do the unbelievers not realize that the heaven and the earth used to be one solid mass that we exploded into existence? And from water we made all living things. Would they believe?

*21:30 The Big Bang Theory is now supported by the Creator’s infallible mathematical code  Thus, it is no longer a theory; it is a law, a proven fact.

[41:11]  Then He turned to the sky, when it was still gas, and said to it, and to the earth, “Come into existence, willingly or unwillingly.” They said, “We come willingly.”

God is the One who expands the Universes;

     “Expansion of the Universe Theory” Confirmed

[51:47]  We constructed the sky with our hands, and we will continue to expand it.

God produced for us crops to eat from and a source of sustenance;

[2:22]  The One who made the earth habitable for you, and the sky a structure. He sends down from the sky water, to produce all kinds of fruits for your sustenance. You shall not set up idols to rival GOD, now that you know.

There are so many examples of manifestation of God that we cannot encompass it;

[6:103]  No visions can encompass Him, but He encompasses all visions. He is the Compassionate, the Cognizant.

[14:34]  And He gives you all kinds of things that you implore Him for. If you count GOD’s blessings, you can never encompass them. Indeed, the human being is transgressing, unappreciative.

[16:18]  If you count GOD’s blessings, you cannot possibly encompass them. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

Shinto;

Shinto does not accept that human beings are born bad or impure; in fact Shinto states that humans are born pure, and sharing in the divine soul.

Islam;

Quran explains that there was a feud in Heavens well before this Universe and Earth was created.  Before this feud all creatures lived happily together in the High Heaven near God.  The culprit who started this feud was a creature called Satan.  He wanted to see if he could rule the world, all those sided with him were sent to earth, and he and his companions were given respite until the Day of Judgment.  Within this feud there were many who were unsure but wanted to try this world experience, some of them were righteous who could redeem themselves to Heaven, while existing in this world.  Hence, when we are born, it is already established if we are bound to Heaven or Hell, either we a pure or not pure.  However, we do not know our destiny and prove our way as we live here.  God knows who should be admitted to Heaven (based on what we decided in feud in the Heavens), thus God distributes these souls to the situations where they can grow and make it to Heaven.  The following verses confirm the feud and who was responsible for it and the rest is history;

This life represents the third and final chance to redeem ourselves..

[38:70]  “I am inspired that my sole mission is to deliver the warnings to you.”

[38:71]  Your Lord said to the angels, “I am creating a human being from clay.

[38:72]  “Once I design him, and blow into him from My spirit, you shall fall prostrate before him.”

[38:73]  The angels fell prostrate, all of them,

[38:74]  except Satan; he refused, and was too arrogant, unappreciative.

Obviously God knew beforehand that Satan will reject, and in what our hearts intended.  Thus this test came later where God designed human being and asked angels to assist them symbolically by prostrating to it, but Satan refused.

Zoroastrian & Islam at a Glance;

By Ijaz Chaudry

Common traits between Zoroastrian and Islam;

Zoroastrian;

Zoroastrians believe there is one God called Ahura Mazda (Wise Lord) and He created the world; further Ahura Mazda described;

Ahura Mazda is:

Omniscient (knows everything)

Omnipotent (all powerful)

Omnipresent (is everywhere)

Impossible for humans to conceive

Unchanging

The Creator of life

The Source of all goodness and happiness

Islam;

Islam recognizes the fact that there is only One God who people call with many different names in many different languages.   God is described by many beautiful names including those described above.  Quran the holy book of Muslims and the Final Testament tells us that;

[6:103]  No visions can encompass Him, but He encompasses all visions. He is the Compassionate, the Cognizant.

Thus as stated in (6:103) above no one fully understand all qualities of God, but they are many of which the ones described above are only few.

Zoroastrian;

It is now one of the world’s smallest religions. In 2006 the New York Times reported that there were probably less than 190,000 followers worldwide at that time.

Islam;

The Islam based on tradition with different sects may be the second largest religion of the world after Christianity but the true Islam is minority of the minority.  There are very few Muslims who worship God Alone.  The traditional Muslims worship Muhammad and are thus called Muhammadan’s.  Their total devotion to Muhammad makes them Muhammadan’s.  This is idol worship the greatest Sin in Islam, if continued till death will end the person in Hell.  As we know from the Quran that Muhammad never advocated the idolising of him;

[3:79]  Never would a human being whom GOD blessed with the scripture and prophet hood say to the people, “Idolize me beside GOD.” Instead, (he would say), “Devote yourselves absolutely to your Lord alone,” according to the scripture you preach and the teachings you learn.

Thus the true Muslims are very privileged few.  The following verses confirm the fact that there are very few Muslims;

                   The Majority of People Do Not Believe

[12:103]  Most people, no matter what you do, will not believe.

[12:104]  You are not asking them for any money; you simply deliver this reminder for all the people.

[12:105]  So many proofs in the heavens and the earth are given to them, but they pass by them, heedlessly!

                   The Majority of Believers Destined for Hell

[12:106]  The majority of those who believe in GOD do not do so without committing idol worship.

And the following verse confirms that idol worship is unforgivable by God;

Zoroastrian;

Zoroastrians believe that Zoroaster is the prophet of God

Islam;

Islam acknowledges the fact that Zoroaster was a prophet, and asks Zoroastrians why they killed him;

[3:183]  It is they who said, “GOD has made a covenant with us that we shall not believe in any messenger, unless he produces an offering that gets consumed by fire.” Say, “Messengers before me have come to you with clear proofs, including what you just demanded. Why then did you kill them, if you are truthful?”

[3:184]  If they reject you, messengers before you have been rejected, even though they brought proofs, the Psalms, and the enlightening scripture.

Zoroaster is written in the Quran as a prophet mathematically, explaining that is beyond the scope of this article. It is true that Zoroaster was killed by his own people historically catalogued..

Zoroastrian;

It is generally accepted that in the Abrahamic religions, the concepts of Heaven and Hell, as well as the Devil, were heavily influenced by Zoroastrian belief.

Islam;

All messengers brought the same religion Islam (Submission) to the world.  The human beings corrupted Islam and created their own religion through idol worship later on.  For example Christians idolised Jesus Christ and formed their own religion called Christianity, before this Zoroastrians idolised Zoroaster and formed their own religion called Zoroastrian.  Today Muslims idolise Muhammad and are called Muhammadan’s.  Thus the similarity mentioned above with Zoroastrians and Islam are true because both religions were the same before sects and new religions were created by humans;

To Him alone we are submitters (Muslims).”

Difference between Zoroastrian and Islam, Islamic point of view;

Zoroastrian;

As with cosmic dualism, we have the polarity of happiness and sadness, truth and deception and so on but with an emphasis on choice. This choice is crucial as it determines whether we are the helper of Ahura Mazda or the helper of Angra Mainyu. When all of mankind chooses the former over the latter, evil will finally be defeated and Paradise on earth will be realized.

Islam;

Islam recognises the fact that humans have freedom of choice, this fact is recorded in the Quran as follows;

                   Freedom of Choice

[33:72]  We have offered the responsibility (freedom of choice) to the heavens and the earth, and the mountains, but they refused to bear it, and were afraid of it. But the human being accepted it; he was transgressing, ignorant.*

                 *33:72 The animals, trees, stars, etc. took advantage of this.

Thus having freedom of choice by humans was not a very clever thing to do, because it makes humans responsible for their behaviour.  However, one can redeem itself by worshiping God alone using Quran for guidance and stop idolising any other being no matter how subtle it might be.  Also be humble and get rid of any ego, because ego is over bearing and stops God’s message to be heard.  There is a verse in the Quran which clarifies how to receive God’s message;

     Follow the Word of God

[39:18]  They are the ones who examine all words, then follow the best. These are the ones whom GOD has guided; these are the ones who possess intelligence.

Also another crucial advice for the followers would be;

     Crucial  Advice

[17:36]  You shall not accept any information, unless you verify it for yourself. I have given you the hearing, the eyesight, and the brain, and you are responsible for using them.

It is not wise to leave it to someone else to decide your fate, only you are responsible for making it to Heaven or Hell, so verify what I am saying here using your best judgement and then make your decision either to follow what I am saying here or not.  If you have any doubt about what I am saying here then air your views, I might have made a mistake and by you highlighting it, you would be doing a favour to me and to you.  All messengers are humans and can make mistakes, which could be a test for the believers, many believers are blocked by the issue of messengers cannot make mistakes and then become disbelievers;

[14:11]  Their messengers said to them, “We are no more than humans like you, but GOD blesses whomever He chooses from among His servants. We could not possibly show you any kind of authorization, except in accordance with GOD’s will. In GOD the believers shall trust.

Zoroastrian;

Zoroastrians believe that as soon as the breath has left it, the body becomes impure. Death is considered to be the work of Angra Mainyu, the embodiment of all that is evil, whereas the earth and all that is beautiful is considered to be the pure work of God

Islam;

Islam believes that God does not advocate sin;

     Examine All Inherited Information

[7:28]  They commit a gross sin, then say, “We found our parents doing this, and GOD has commanded us to do it.” Say, “GOD never advocates sin. Are you saying about GOD what you do not know?”

However, death is not sinful act.  God controls life and death, and every one ultimately return to God.  Islam agrees that all the evil on earth is instituted by devil they may be Human or Jinn (descendents of Satan), however, the ultimate control of anything which happens to us is in the Hand of God;

[3:109]  To GOD belongs everything in the heavens and everything on earth, and all matters are controlled by GOD.

Also life and death is in the hands of God and not the devil;

  Two Deaths and Two Lives for the Disbelievers*

[2:28]  How can you disbelieve in GOD when you were dead and He gave you life, then He puts you to death, then He brings you back to life, then to Him you ultimately return?

*2:28 The righteous do not really die; they go straight to Heaven. When their interim on this earth comes to an end, the angels of death simply invite them to go to the same Paradise where Adam and Eve once lived (2:154, 3:169, 8:24, 22:58, 16:32, 36:20-27, 44:56, 89:27-30). Thus, while the righteous experience only the first death following our original sin, the unrighteous go through two deaths (40:11). At the time of death, the disbelievers know their miserable fate (8:50, 47:27), then they suffer a continuous nightmare that lasts until Hell is created (40:46, 89:23).

Zoroastrian;

Zoroastrians traditionally pray several times a day. Some wear a kusti, which is a cord knotted three times, to remind them of the maxim, ‘Good Words, Good Thoughts, Good Deeds’.

Islam;

Islam forbids bad thoughts and encourages good ones.  In Islam Muslims could pray 5 times a day, remembering God at every part of the day and as the season changes the times of the prayer changes thus Muslims pray within different time zones and remember God.  God stipulates who would do these prayers as follows;

[2:45]  You shall seek help through steadfastness and the Contact Prayers (Salat). This is difficult indeed, but not so for the reverent,

[2:46]  who believe that they will meet their Lord; that to Him they ultimately return.

*God has not made Islam a burden, one can put as much or as little into Islam and accordingly he/she will be rewarded.  Believing in God alone, believing in Last Day and leading a good life is sufficient for Salvation.  However, the one who does Salat (Prayers) will be better guided.  The Salat is much emphasized in the Quran and there are great rewards for those who do Salat and lead a righteous life.  How to perform correct Salat with proof has been established by the help of the miracle of 19 with the leave of God, you will find the proof and instructions for Salat on this web site.
